Caroline Kennedy Will Be Senator, Officials Tell AP @ 2:12 pm by Walter Alarkon
Caroline Kennedy will be named the successor in the Senate to Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), according to unnamed officials who spoke to the Associated Press.
The AP also spoke to two people close to Gov. David Paterson (D-N.Y.) who said that he is still looking for his choice but that they believe Kennedy will be the pick.
Kennedy, the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, has been lobbying for the seat since last month. Paterson's choice will serve until 2010, when voters will choose someone to fill the remainder of Clinton's term. It's up for election again in 2012, which is the final year of her term.
Clinton has been nominated to become secretary of State in the Obama administration.
Even by Senate standards, she’s a tedious speaker.

You are kidding right? The dims keep reelecting a drunk murderer in Teddy, a racist in Byrd, a gay pimp in Frank, a whore chasing drug addict in Mayor Barry, a nincompoop in Nagin........... The list is endless of the elitist the DNC sends up and the dim masses vote for. It really is sad when you sit down and think about what is happening to this once great country. It is still the best, but it ain't what it once was.
A head of lettuce is more qualified to be a senator than Caroline Kennedy.

Wow! Really? Like, all she had to do was say, “I want that.” and, by golly, it was hers. She’s a Kennedy and all that, you know like, service to the community and all like that.
What? Caroline is certainly a Kennedy and definitely NOT an Onassis. Or am I misunderstanding you?
