Numerous legal challenges have been filed in an effort to force president-elect Barack Obama to validate his constitutional eligibility for the office he seeks and while it is true that suit after suit has been denied in the courts, it is also true that all of them have been denied on a technicality rather than on the merits of the case against Obama.
And although Obama could have ended the debate months ago by simply delivering a $10.00 certified copy of his official birth records to prove his constitutional edibility, he has instead chosen to spend nearly a million bucks in legal defense fees hoping to run out the clock and assume office before any of the legal challenges will be heard by the courts.
A few things are quite clear at this point
* Article II - Section I of the Constitution clearly limits those who can serve as Commander-in-Chief to "natural born citizens" of the United States, and for good reason
* The Hawaii certificate posted on Obama's web-site is insufficient and in question at best
* Obama's Kenyan relatives state that they attended his birth in Kenya
* Later, Obama was indeed a legal citizen of Indonesia, traveling under his Indonesian passport as recent as in his early twenties
* There is no known record of Obama changing his Indonesian citizenship back to American citizenship, and it wouldn't make him a "natural born citizen" even if he did
* None of this seems to matter to anyone of consequence...
On this basis, we are headed towards not one, but numerous constitutional crises.
How will an unconstitutional president rule?

Fringe? No...
Futile maybe, but the defense of the constitution should NEVER be considered a “fringe” movement.
Are you saying the same thing about these records?
Medical Records
Occidental College Records
Columbia University Records
Harvard University Records
University of Chicago Records
Law Records
State Senator Records
lj, this one just played the obamanoid trump card of ‘truther’. Add the sycophant to the list. ... It must be getting time for David Axelrod to update the talking points list. Bwahahahaha
Freedom means the most to those who do not have it. Maybe we will have to go there again first...
Exactly!
I dont want them to LIKE conservatives ... I want them to FEAR conservatives!!!!
***I don’t particularly care what they think of conservatives, and it doesn’t really register that high on my care-o-meter how other conservatives prefer to be viewed. I suppose the way I see it is that I would prefer liberals to respect conservatism. Principles before personalities.
Brother I am anything but a conspiracy theorist. I believe nothing without substantial evidence and also adher to the belief that that which is the least improbable is likely to be fact.
That being said, I do require the minimal amount of proof in defense of something so basic, clearly defined and inviolate as the few conditions to be President of the United States.
An argument can be made that the “natural born” requirement is archaic and should be changed but there are “legal” ways to accomplish that. Untill it is done I’ll fight to insure that the laws as they stand,. are enforced To insinuate that because they have been broken in the past is an excuse to continue to violate them is and argument of Democrats and cads.
Personally I would be relieved to find out that Obama WAS born in the states but untill something a bit more definative is produced to indicate that fact I’ll continue to insist.
I believe that is the case. Personally I don’t believe we will ever recover from this election of obongo. We will become like any other 3rd world country, its been coming for years.
I am not "slinging" any name around. I am pointing out that your death grip on the demand that Obama be forced to prove where he drew his first breath can so easily be used to label you as a crackpot. Calling you a crackpot and asking you not to present an argument that allows you to be described as a crackpot by your opposition are two entirely different things.
I am not of the opinion that 911 was an inside job. So why are you attempting to lay that upon me?
Article II Section I of the US Constitution is VERY clear. Do you support it or not?
It is NO secret that Obama is NOT a “natural born citizen of the US.” That means he is NOT eligible for the office he seeks, according to the constitution.
So, are you for or against enforcing Article II Section I of the US Constitution in the case of Barack Hussein Obama?
It’s a simple question, in no way related to 911... Just answer the question.
A $10.00 copy of his birth records would end all speculation... Why has he spent a million in legal fees instead?
"The Obama/Dunham divorce decree to be posted Friday, Jan 2"(today)
Is this going to be like the African news agency thing or what?
I guess it's in a secure location somewhere with the "Kenyan birth certificate" and the records of Mombasa's Coast Provincial Hospital.
Camilla with a plunger? Has it come to this for the Royal Family, that they must work as plumbers to survive??
Then went on to earn $100 million, got his corrupt wife elected to the senate, helped her run for president, then got her appointed Sec. of State...now that's real punishment.
Obama's going to be disappointed if all we can come up with is a forged birth certificate...
But it won't be. The Media will convince people not to care. "Obama was duly elected." "The country will become too unsettled." etc. And killing the belief in the Constitution would be far, far worse long term than any Obama presidency.
We need to define "natural born" once and for all legally. We need proof that Obama meets this qualification. Even if we decide to grandfather him as duly elected but never proven qualified by his party, for the future we must NEVER allow anyone on the presidential ballot without his/her having first been proven eligible.
Even a person convicted of DUI gets their driver's license back after completing their penalty.

You said “This is the epitome of fringe” and yet you stay on the thread. That seems odd. Most of us on this thread simply want to know the truth about his eligibility. There’s nothing wrong with that. There’s nothing “fringe” about seeking the truth.
Excellent comment.
