A 14-year-old who was trained to kill by radicals in the tribal regions of Pakistan now sits in a crowded classroom at a detention facility in Kabul. His only wish is to see his parents again.
Shakirullah, 14, is convicted of planning to carry out a suicide bombing in Afghanistan.
1 of 3 "I miss my parents, my mom and dad," Shakirullah says in soft tones. Like others in tribal regions, he goes by one name.
Shakirullah is already a convicted terrorist for planning to carry out a suicide bombing. He says Muslim radicals lied and tricked him into becoming a would-be bomber. "I have been detained for trying to commit a suicide attack," he says.
He says his recruiters told him it was his mission as a Muslim to kill British and American soldiers because they were killing Muslims. Watch teen say recruiters "cheated me" »
They told him that once he blew himself up he wouldn't die because God would save him for being a true Muslim.

There is something to this though. Radical islam does tend to prey on children and the weak minded. This kid could well be yet another mildly retarded person preyed upon by evil mullahs to further their satanic agenda. Or he could just be another poor kid taught this crap from age two. Remember the women with down syndrome they strapped bombs to last year?
“We execute murderers, not people who are planning to and we dont execute 14yr olds - Iran does - maybe youd like to emulate the Iranian regime, I dont believe in executing children”
Very good points. I don’t support it either in this case.
He didn’t blow up anyone.
“14 is just a number, as is 18. Who decided on that?”
There’s a reason we separate rules and regulations for children. They don’t have the mental maturity of adults.
“Again, if they can think through the act, they deserve the harshest punishment available.”
Obviously, he didn’t, because he was apparently convinced that he wouldn’t be killed in the explosion. That’s not “thinking thru the act”
“When one has cancer, they get it cut out.
The surgeon doesnt ask how old is it.”
Oy. Lame try. “Cutting it out” is removong it. He can be removed from society without killing him - which is my point.
But these children believe in executing you. Therefore what you believe is irrelevant, immaterial, and just plain stupid.

Moral equivilency is a slippery slope.
There is absolute right and wrong. Some acknowledge this and seek what is right. Others avoid it and try to make what they do right.
I have served in combat and have been shot at by teenagers. They received the death penalty with judgement served by a hellfire missle. Case closed, no hand ringing.
The fact that they caught him before he succeded in his evil plot to kill is his only saving grace.
“But these children believe in executing you. Therefore what you believe is irrelevant, immaterial, and just plain stupid.”
No. I’m an adult and your supposed ‘logic’ is stupid
People who treat their children like that deserve to be called sub-human trash.
Is it wrong for us to kill in the name of God? Innocent or not? In our way of thinking killers are psychopaths, but terrorist do not know what psychopaths are. But I do see that I am not going to change your way of thinking, so I’ll just shut up.
First of all, let me thank you for your honored service. I appreciate it very much. And I thank God, that you were able to come home to your family and friends. And yes morality is a slippery slope. But as I said.....people do as they are TAUGHT, no morality to it. A simple statement of being human. Whatever a person is TAUGHT, they will usually abide by it, but in a lot of Middle Eastern countries, they are taught only to kill, no respect for human life at all. Teach the minds of children (what ever it may be) and you will rule the world.

“Thinking like yours is going to get thousands of innocent people killed.”
If they’re locked up for life, they’re not going to kill “thousands of innocent people.”
You assume far too much. They won't be locked up 'for life'. They'll be sprung by their terrorist buddies, freed by some idiot politician, or paroled.
There's a sure fire way to be certain they never, ever harm another person.
Kill them.

Several years ago there was a terrific documentary by an Israeli filmmaker in which there was a heart-rending interview with the older brother of a young suicide bomber, who kept asking the unaswerable about the Imams who promote these sacrifices to Moloch: “Why don’t they go or send their sons?”
Yes, I vaguely remember that, and I think that may have been the impetus for my question. Frankly, if we capture any of these lying so-and-so’s, they should be tried for mass murder, conspiracy, and end up on a rope.
Sounds alot like shamans and their 'ghost shirts'. Which is understandable because ounce again we are battling a people who have refused to advance out of the stone-age.
Personally if I were going to blow myself up for my God, the least I should expect is that the request come from God Himself and not from some disgusting floating piece of debris who “claims” to be the voice of god.
Why Arabs Believe In Force Fields (Interesting!)

This kid thinks he has been tricked, but he would feel far worse about that, had he carried out his mission. Pictures of the 72 virgins, anyone?
