McQuaig does not once make mention of the 80 rockets that Hamas lobbed into populated areas of Israel. The fact that Israel and Hamas signed a six month truce, which Hamas refused to resign is also ignored. In fact, McQuaig quotes Richard Falk, a man she refers to as a Jewish-American professor, as saying that the situation was Israels fault for having entered into Gaza a month ago on a military incursion.
The truth is that intermittent attacks coming from Gaza were commonplace even after the ceasefire was signed. Hamas continually broke the terms and conditions throughout its six month duration. Last month, the Israeli Army found that Hamas supporters were digging a tunnel toward Israel that presented a clear security risk. Israel destroyed the tunnel and left.
As her column progresses, her other claims continue to decry incredulity. She blames Israel for sectioning off Gaza. The problem is that Gaza also has an equally long border with Egypt, so Israel could not unilaterally section it off. McQuaig knows this, so she again relies on Falk as the source of her seemingly (as well as actually) incredulous claim. To be sure, Israel did block off Gaza after rocket attacks persisted. But if Gaza was at all reasonable, why would both Israel and Egypt see the need to block it off? Israel still allowed food and vital supplies in, McQuaigs reference to food shortages (for which she again quotes Falk, as only he and Hamas have made this claim) is unsubstantiated and probably countered by the mere fact that all Hamas fighters have clearly had ample strength and resources to continue fighting over the past few days.

CNN.com is taking a similar route. We cannot sit back and let the type of bias and leftist falsifications that permeates the Toronto Star (which makes our leftist media look mild) to take hold here in America.
Btw, see something else interesting below an account of a Hamas protest in Fort Lauderdale.
Israel had to close schools that may have taken rocket attacks. The media went nuts about Katrina. Imagine the government dropping the ball and doing nothing Mexico launches rockets into Texas.
Libs are insane and should be challenged everytime they spew their stupidity.
FORT LAUDERDALE HAMAS RALLY
(The pictures don’t come through. I don’t know how to post them, so feel free to email if interested.)
From an email:
Aside from whats below, I got an account of the Ft Lauderdale demonstrations from John Labriola. Hes a strong supporter of Israel who attended the Ft Lauderdale counter rally. In the election he was a Democrat for McCain. As he was a Democratic Committeeman, they didnt take too well to that and unilaterally overturned his election.
As he headed to join the rally, an Arabic man saw him walking alone and yelled Zionist! Zionist! (Labriola is Italian, not Jewish btw). The Arabic man then started chasing him and had his two kids who were with him also join in the case. Fortunately there were police near by so the madmen had to back off.
May we only have good news from now on,
Yomin

Btw, that’s someone else’s email. I didn’t notice it when I copied. Mine is on my profile.
Mod - sorry, if you can please remove those emails.
It's being discussed so it can be fought against.
If we all just wait for them to cease to exist, they will only get stronger.
Federal building Broward Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Muslims rally against the Jewish state. It was pandemonium. Muslims dress in full jihad garb juiced with .... hate.It looked like Halloween in Gaza. Throngs of young Muslims drunk with ..... hate. It was madness in America. You had to see it to believe it (watch video for the feel) Across the street was an anemic counter protest. Where were the Jewish kids? NOWHERE. Jewish leadership and the diaspora have failed miserably in the education of our youth. The entire Muslim rally was young, wild -- frenetic. Itchy fingers on hair triggers.

I wouldn’t wipe my dog’s hole with the Toronto Star. They’re so desperate for readers that they’ve set up booths in malls here in Toronto to give away free crock pots, sham-wows, electric drills, cutlery sets, frying pans, rolling pins, etc. It’s all made-in-China cheap sh*t garbage. The catch is that you have to buy a subscription for home delivery of this rag. How pathetic. I laugh at them whenever I pass by and they try to pitch their nonsense.
“Her lone source was a Jewish professor who makes Ahmadinejad look like a friend of Israel.”
If this quote is true, probably a secular Jew that puts politics above what God has written, much like those who voted for 0bama. Hamas is a terrorist organization. If the MSM gives them cover, then I know they are rotten.
Very well said. I’m doing a full feature on them that will be in another publication. I’ll send you a copy.
I used to live in Toronto (around 2001) and took a 3 month subscription. They’re insane. When I canceled “because of blatant anti-conservatism and anti-Israel bias” I got a form letter supposedly from their publisher (which means a lot canceled due to their bias) saying that they’re not biased. As proof he offered up the fact that they have a citizen advisory board. Yes, one made up entirely of radical leftists and pro-Islamofascists. Certainly no one who canceled due to bias was invited to join his advisory panel to ensure “diversity.”
:) That’s why I wrote “but hes probably one of the only Jews aside from.” But thanks, that’s good information.
America shouldn’t let in sworn enemies like Ahmadinejad either. Oh wait.... Columbia needs him. Forget that.
I’d describe him as a senile leftist radical nutjob who happens to be Jewish.
It’s beyond me. I think it’s the same misplaced craziness that makes so many Americans have disdain for their country. It starts with indoctrination followed by peer pressure (or professor pressure), but at some point a man above a certain age should know better. And the stuff he’s saying could be refuted by a five year old, so the “certain age” shouldn’t be that much.
I can’t chalk it up to more than liberal insanity knows no reason.
Many Euros hate America for who knows what reasons and colleges here teach self hate. Same thing goes with liberal Jews. The “why” is something I can’t point to. It’s probably a combination of a whole lot of reasons.
But anyway, who wants to delve into liberal psychology, Jewish or non-Jewish, American or European? That’s one horror movie that just shouldn’t be shown in theaters.
I think they’ll decease themselves without our help .... they just keep putting their feet in their mouths ....
