I was thinking more like January 20, 2009.
That would put a damper on Obamas big day.

I’m in a 2 story house, and atop a high ridge.
Yet, I’m thinking of mimicking the Mormon level of household food stuffs.

I’m sure glad I got to see Yellowstone/Grand Teton last April.

All have been centered at Yellowstone Lake as they have been for the past 4 days.
They show up on the seismograph for Yellowstone Lake

So when is our government going to tell us to evacuate like they do during an approaching hurricane? Doesn't the Yellowstone thing amount to the same as a hurricane approaching landfall?

You might want to read the entire article.

I noticed that. I’m not an expert so I know very little about earthquakes, but it seems weird that one of the depths listed is 37km. I cannot find anything above 13km (and that was only once) in the past couple of days. Perhaps there was an error. Anyway, I’ve got family not too far from Yellowstone, so I’m a little concerned.

Has anyone heard of any military movements being conducted in the last week regarding possible shifting of forces away from ground zero in case it blows? Also, wouldn’t this, now, be a good time to strike Iran before a lot of our bases are covered under ash within 1000 miles of Yellowstone? W said he was going to do that before he left office anyway.

Just think if all the conservitives move to the northeast.
Probably won't be electing all the rinos and libs into office anymore.

Watched the inhabitants of the Gaza strip pulled from their homes crying and screaming made homeless by our politics.
No. Made homeless by their insane hatred of Jews.

If it blows, not only will our food supply be destroyed, but most of our nukes.
That would suck.

another 2.7 quake just recorded in roughly the same area.

Like I said in my earlier posts. It makes me wonder if our present administration and military have a plan in place for such an event. If not, they have left us very vulnerable to our enemies as well as internal chaos. I know I'll get flamed from some on this but IMHO this may be the beginning of the final prophecies in the Bible.

Try not to be so pessimistic.
Ash is a great fertilizer. Two or so years after Mt. St. Helen's, things came back to life.
The threat is that all aircraft must avoid going through the ash as it will ruin the engines.
But it does depend on how much ash is released.
I have fished in Medicine Lake, near Tulelake, CA. We had a depth finder...it goes from 20 feet to 140 in a matter of inches. This is also an old volcano filled with water as is Yellowstone Lake.
Does anyone have a map of the bottom of the lake?
