December was actually a GREAT month for YouTube Smackdown! I hope you enjoyed seeing all the dancing babies as much as I enjoyed posting them! You'll REALLY enjoy seeing these numbers!!
AhDoodieClaire - 12 suspensions and downed videos totaling 491 videos removed!
LanAstaslem - 3 suspensions, 238 videos removed.
SIT – sniper videos – don’t have figures yet
JSDotd - 30 out of 31 down for Dec. total of 216 to date - 88.5% SMACKDOWN
It has taken over a year and a half to assemble the arms and legs of this project to make it the success it is today.
And, it demands constant vigilance to stay on top of the seemingly unending changes YT makes to their TOS, without officially notifying their users! Without testing what are basically gut feelings, we don't know which direction the river runs today.
To that end, GnatMasterson worked most of December (over and above his love for providing weekend gnat amusement) to test a growing suspicion he had that YT had rewritten software to allow much older videos to be taken down. He and his loyal minions pulled users from the archives and flagged videos until they were satisfied that the hypothesis was in fact, correct. The results -
238 individual videos downed and 12 users suspended totaling an additional 561 videos! That's 799 total videos from Gnat! YOU ROCK!!
Another avenue for cleaning up YT's dereliction of duty has been opened, you will be seeing much more of the older videos for flagging. Thank you GnatMasterson and crew for a job exceedingly well done!!!
(Large gnats are 100 videos, small gnats are 1)
And thank you Free Republic - the 101st Chairborne Division - for all your help in making 2008 a very successful year for Operation YouTube Smackdown!

#1) If you don’t have a YouTube account, go sign up for one. You don’t have to use it for anything but this.
#2) Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you don’t have to actually watch the propaganda.
#3) Below the video, click “Flag as inappropriate.”
#4) Choose “promotes hatred or violence”
#5) Where it says “please indicate the group attacked” choose National Origin.
#6) Where it says “provide additional information.....” type or copy/paste in the below statement.
Providing services to terrorists violates executive orders 12947 and 13224.

We have passed some significant markers as Operation YouTube Smackdown. Our one year anniversary came and went in July and that alone said a lot about the Corps members who have worked so hard to grow this project, and the volunteers, YOU, who flagged the videos nearly every single day of the year. In January we crossed the 500 users SUSPENDED mark – and - crossed the 20,000 videos SMACKED DOWN mark! As one of the founders, knowing where we started and how difficult it was at first, I am in awe of these numbers. When this project began, another of the founders, Rickbert, wrote a piece about why he signed on to Smackdown. Our military men and women were in parts of the world barely known to us, doing their jobs - watching our backs. Rickbert wrote about his need to do "something" in this GWOT. He ended it thus - "I do it because I want to feel "useful".....I do it because, with respects to Michael Yon, our Soldiers, and “John Milton,” I like to think they also serve who only sit and click." Absolutely that was my motivation for signing up and I know it is the same for many of you. FReepers - are - some of the most "useful" people in the world. Well, I wish we didn't have to do this. I wish our Troops didn't have to do what they do. I wish the WTC were still standing. I wish the free people on all three flights were home with their families.
But we don't live in a world full of peaceful people. Unfortunately, we live with a mess of maniacal animals who have been brainwashed to kill innocent people.
We can count our blessing though. Thanks to the brave, we do still live in a Nation that values God and life. God's first gift to man is free will. We live in a Nation that gives man a chance to choose his destiny. The animals who oppose this way of life oppose God's will (no matter what they may think about themselves). There is no choice in the muzzy’s world. They are coerced into their belief from birth.
Now these animals wish to force their will on us. It is imperative that we stand up and do something. I am thankful for the Smackdown, because it gives me an avenue to do something about the cult that threatens freedom. Compared to what our Troops are doing, it is a small part for liberty. And I can walk this path for freedom without fear, because of the brave with their boots on the ground, the honored with their wings in the air, and the dutiful who are at sea.
God bless our Troops, the Smackdown, and God bless the Free Republic!
Thanks for listening too. I felt like ranting some this morning.

She “was” part of the cult you talked about. Was. Past tense. 101st Chairborne strikes again - standing up and doing something about it!
