This is not a scam.
I have been reading the chat room forum for a few months.
I saw the people in the plainsradio.com chat room come up with the idea of hiring a PI to try to get the divorce decree. They approached Ed with the idea.
He found a PI and the members of the chat room raised the money.
There is a small chance that this will amount to anything,
but at least there is a chance.
These people appear very honest and sincere.
Their hearts were in the right place- and they put their money where their mouth is.

What I wonder, sometimes, is if this “issue” will go on even after Obama has served two terms (if he does). LOL...
Can you imagine, being here on Free Republic and then finding that 8 years later, people are still looking for documents, while Obama is building his Presidential Library... :-)

I can think of better ways to deal with Obama, which is to get state laws passed that require a proper vetting of a Presidential Candidate, stated exactly in the law and making it mandatory or the candidate cannot be placed on the ballot.
If some of these state laws get going fast enough, they can be put to use before the next Presidential Election...
