Democratic U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush of Chicago said today during Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s press conference that one of the reasons former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris should be appointed to fill President-elect Barack Obama’s U. S. Senate seat is because Burris is black. ... Rush went on to say that it was a matter of national importance that an African-American replace Obama in the Senate.

I was listening to him speak in a clip they played on the radio earlier. The guy sounded like an uneducated drunk. And they make fun of Bush? The people representing us in Congress and the Senate are a joke. And it has nothing to do with color. The losers are from all walks it seems.
Bobby Rush is a racist and a bigot, and has just unmistakably stated that he thinks the color of a persons skin, is more important than the content of their character.
