It’s probably for the best that Sarah Palin failed to become US vice-president, because if she had, the implosion among various snooty political classes, conservative and Left, would have been measurable from Venus. The world can only tolerate so much turmoil in one year.
Everyone always talks about the need for grassroots reform and politicians with real-world experience, then along came a real-world politician from the grass (well, snow) roots of Alaska, and the commentariat ridiculed her.

Given a little more time ... she would have done it!
The month after her announcing ... she was absent from the scene. A big mistake, as it reduced her exposure to the public.
She learned a lot from the experience of how the game is played in Washington, didn’t she?
She has what it takes to connect with the people.
60-40%? It would have been more like 80+%. McCain is such a loser he caused several Republican and Conservatives to sit this one out.
I know I nearly sat this one out until “The Sarah” shone her bright light.
Hopefully she will run in 2012.
I also voted FOR Sarah and will be fully supporting her in 2012 if she runs for President. Sure hope so!!
“Sweet” Caroline Kennedy looks a lot like the haughty John F. Kerry who, by the way, served in Vietnam if you are not aware. She brings back memories of a better time for most liberals....a time when 2004 was fresh and new and we only had pesky, “minor nuisance” terrorism to worry about provided the “global test” for worrying about terrorism was passed.
Caroline Kennedy looks a lot like Ann Coulter if Ann Couler contracted AIDS and turned leftist. Leftists always wind up looking like the Emperor in Star Wars in their old age. All of that worrying and caring does that to you.
Almost forgot....comparing Sarah Palin’s looks to Caroline Kennedy’s is like like comparing a Victoria Secret model to Abe Vigoda in briefs.

I think it would be great if she continued to serve as Governor of one of the states not running to the fedgov like a whining toddler. Let Alaska be the beacon of Liberty.

I've heard estimates that 6-7 million conservatives just stayed home.
The media would have played it up big if S. Palin had said "you know" half as many times as Miss Caroline.
