PRESCOTT - U.S. Sen. John McCain denounced the escalation of Israeli violence in the Gaza Strip Monday, but added that he has seen Israel's residents running to shelters to escape border violence, too.
"If we were being shelled from across our border, the American people would have demanded action," McCain said during an interview with The Daily Courier's editorial board Monday.
Israel started launching air strikes on the Gaza Saturday after a week of intense Palestinian rocket fire from Gaza broke a cease-fire. Reports say more than 360 Palestinians have died. Some international leaders are calling for a cease-fire.

If this becomes a war, this will be Obama’s War. The Israelis never would have launched an offensive like this unless they really felt the noose tightening.

We really dodged a bullet with McCain losing in the last election.
You think the GOP is in bad shape right now?
I can only imagine what it would be like once McCain had gotten done destroying it with his liberal and just plain wrong policies.

Oh yea, he was the democrat who ran for republican president, wasn’t he?
To: tx_eggman
john McCain lost the presidential election because he was seen by millions as the weak, compromising politician he has been for many years.
The Republican party elites did all possible to defeat all candidates with strong values.

Please oh please........go away John.

For the first time, the Israelis obviously feel alone. The timing of their elections allow this fighting to continue no matter which of their parties win.
