GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip Saturday began as another ordinary day in Gaza. I was preparing to leave my apartment, on the sixth floor of a 13-story building in the western part of Gaza City, to drive five minutes to my office near the center.

Yes, 20 or 30 rocket launches into Israeli population centers, a few beheadings of “traitors”, several public shootings of “criminals”, a few Bush effigy burnings, all while driving to work at the suicide bomb factory.

She was hesitant at first because my daughters told her not to go. But finally she decided to take one of our daughters with her, and I stayed with the two others while I worked.Yep, what a man! Stays safe in the house writing the news while sending wife and kid out into the maelstrom for food. Well, after all , they're the gatherers, aren't they? Or is this more anecdotal evidence of an inherent faith in the Israeli air force's extreme efforts to avoid collateral damage - like that guy standing on a balcony watching, 20m away from an air strike? Also significant is a newsie eschewing the opportunity to put boots on the ground and actually see what he was reporting about.

I guess this is an attempt at a sob story by the Tribune. Oh the poor “dad” was almost killed. Stalin was a dad too. And Gobbels was supposed to be a very loving father. Hey Saud, next time grab a Pop Tart and get to work on time.

I don’t believe the 20m story. Thats well within the blast radius of even small bombs.

Breakfast at 11:30 a.m.? Explains why Gaza's GDP is two goats and a mouldy falafel.

The Chicago Tribune is not even a shadow of what it used to be. The editorial board is now a bunch of 0bama apologists. Their front page stories are all human interest stories...it’s like reading People magazine. The actual “news” is hidden back on page 20. They endorsed 0bama in a bid to attract for younger city readers, but the older, long time readers are leaving in droves.

Yes, 20 or 30 rocket launches into Israeli population centers, a few beheadings of traitors, several public shootings of criminals, a few Bush effigy burnings, all while driving to work at the suicide bomb factory. Don't forget the stoning of a teenage girl suspected of having pre-marital sex.

The last line of the Trib’s article contained a minor error, as you can clearly see:
“Saud Abu Ramadan, 44, is a Palestinian journalist - “
The corrected line :
“Saud Abu Ramadan, 44, is a Palisimian journalist - “
And, I might add, a cowardly one at that.

My wife is smart; she didn't drive down the main street and avoided driving near buildings that could be targeted by Israeli missiles. What! She didn't volunteer to be a human shied?

This Pallywood reporter could do his family better service by REPORTING the location of Hamas and Hezbollah to the Israelis when the tanks come rolling in.
Figure out why your country is getting bombed, dimwit, and do something about it.

"Just another day in Gaza". Lob a few missiles at Israeli school kids, call for the crucifixion of 'infidels', breakfast at 11:30am, and then off to the Acme Suicide Belt Co for another grueling shift working with Semtex, rusty nails, and rat poison.
Israel should reduce Gaza to ashes....

"Father," pleaded little Aisha, who was 9 years old and was promised in marriage to a 50 year old camel merchant, "won't you eat something, please? And Death to America!"
"Yes, little one, I will eat something since you ask so nicely" said Abu. "And Death to America!"
Later, as Beesan was dodging bombs and shrapnel to gather milk, eggs, flour, and bomb making parts Abu called her on the cell phone. "Hello Beesan, are you all right? Have you found everything you need? Hurry home because I haven't beaten you today. Death to America."
"Yes Abu", shouted Beesan over the noise of Palestinians shouting Death to America. "I will be home soon, and Death to America!"
