I just do not get what is happening these days....we had two very clear news items posted on Tri Connect describing how O was to meet with Blag that afternoon, then a followup story AFTER the meeting took place.
Not to mention the now fading, soon to be forgotten, memory of Axlerod's very clear "I know he has talked with the govenor" etc... comment on video.
How did all this just vaporize as if it never occurred?
Correx: was supposed to say ‘Blag’...however holding the “bag’ might be more appropriate

Based on an internal investigation, the insiders on Obama’s staff said that nothing worth talking about transpired. They released this assessment on Christmas Eve, so at this point it’s all “old news” and no one wants to touch such a boring, pointless, and out-of-date newstory.
The MSM determines its “old news” and they won’t revisit. Just like the Rezko connection to his land deal. The MSM have become the new “news whores”

How is it reasonable people are to believe....that “no, you didn’t really see that”.
Or, “Oh, uh, we made a mistake, we don’t know why we reported THAT, that was just uh, nothing, don’t know where it came from” And then it was scrubbed!
How has this escaped Fitzgerald’s scrutiny?

This is Obama world. Nothing bad happens to Obama in Obama world.
Within hours those websites were scrubbed of the two articles.
But here on FR there is a thread with screnn shots of both.

A weak, half-hearted attempt to link Obama to Blagojevich, on the other hand, could be seen a gesture of goodwill toward the incoming administration. This might result in some reward for Fitzgerald ( as a "strong and principled crusader against corruption").
Fitzgerald sees only what he wants to see.
Don’t matter, they’re from the same neighborhood.

I really can’t believe you’re asking the question. It’s a rhetorical question, right? Cuz I know the answer faster than you can say MSM.
so we all just accept this and roll over?
The same thing that happened with the stories about Obama’s illegal immigrant Aunt.. do some searches for news stories.. It’s as if the story just disappeared after the elections.
