xxxxxx, Please plan now to join us in Richmond on January 27, 2009 for Equality Virginia's annual Lobby Day.
The Family Foundation is saying that they are expecting to turn out "hundreds" for their lobby day a week earlier.
Help Equality Virginia show its strength and your unrelenting commitment to change laws and lives by registering now for this event.
You'll have the opportunity to meet other advocates from around the state, learn how to be an effective advocate for the causes we believe in, and spend time talking with legislators and other Richmond decision-makers in formal meetings and, informally, at the legislative reception at the end of the day.
If you want to make a difference in your life and the lives of all GLBT Virginians, please make participation in Equality Virginia's Lobby Day a new year's resolution you will keep.
Lobby Day and the Legislative Reception are free; lunch if you choose to buy one is only $10.00.
Please register today!
Thanks!
Claire Guthrie Gastanaga

P.S. If you have legislative advocacy experience (at the state, local or federal level) and want to serve as a Captain and mentor for a team of grassroots advocates on Lobby Day, please send us an email at lobbyday@equalityvirginia.org!
P.P.S. If your organization (club, school or college group, political organization, church, temple, mosque or other faith organization) wants to co-sponsor Lobby Day (all that's involved is letting us list your organization's name and an agreement to encourage your members to register and participate), please let us know by sending us an email at lobbyday@equalityvirginia.org. Join a wide range of organizations including the Virginia ACLU, Equality Prince William, Transgender Rights Virginia, the Log Cabin Republicans, ROSMY and others who will be joining EV on January 27th to advocate for nondiscrimination in the workplace and other issues of importance to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender Virginians.
I wonder how many so called republicans support homosexual/gay rights.
They want to be made Banking Queen right out of college.
What discrimination?
“Actually the question is ÂI wonder how many so called republicans are filthy disease ridden queers?”
Thanks for the laugh, I needed one.
