RIP, my FRiend.
RIP
May God bless him and keep him.
Painful. Trauma surgeons are scarce among physicians as it is.
a loss not just for the Army, but for his community and Pennsylvania. And a loss for America.
Only in a country as rich as ours can you find our best and brightest risking their lives doing work like this in places like that. No other country can come close to matching the service of America to the rest of the world. Not even close.
God bless you and keep you Major Pryor.
He’s home now. Prayers for his family.
RIP. Well done good and faithful servant.
John Pryor was one of the finest. Always smiling in the hallways, just a wonderful, kind and caring surgeon. Another American hero has been lost.

I am disciplined,. physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.

I am an American Soldier.
It should also serve as an excruciating reminder that what our troops face in Iraq is still warfare, despite the DNC’s and Hussein's success in turning all attention from the WOT and Iraq to the mother of all October surprises: the very opportune economic trouble. We are going to have our work cut out for us not to allow Hussein to turn the WOT and Iraq into the Viet Nam they have also tried to manufacture over the past years. We are obligated to those who have fought and fallen.
There’s a latin saying: dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.” (it is sweet and fitting to die for ones country)
I’m an old Viet Nam boy.
The really bad thing about war is it kills the best of us, those who see their duty and guard their honor. Such men are priceless.
Look around you at all those not deserving still taking up space. Compare Dr. Pryor on the one hand and Bernie Madoff on the other. There is no justice.
Prayers for Dr. Pryor and his family.
