A former Beverly Hills, Calif. liposuction doctor claimed to have the environment's best interests at heart when he began fueling his and his girlfriend's SUVs with human fat sucked out of his patients.
Unfortunately the practice was illegal, according to California state health officials.

Heck, Rosie alone could get the shuttle up.
I could contribute some “lipodiesel” myself, but I don’t think I’d care to go through that procedure.......
It all sounds extremely green and fashionable to me. What’s wrong with those California authorities? Don’t they know that California leads the way and the whole nation follows?
Did this fellow think of putting the squeeze on Michael Moore?
California could connect tubes to the heads of the liberals in the State legislature, and have an infinite source of energy.....
Yuck. Just yuck.
how many times will this nonsense be posted?
I use human fat to power my bicycle.
Mmmm...suspended sentence and probation.
OH, YES, I should not have left Michael Moore off my list — my list was sexist, I’m sorry. Michael Moore alone could power another space shuttle after Rosie’s special sponsored launch......
(actually, I don’t think they could achieve the energy density needed for rocket fuel, so maybe they’d have to settle for powering large ships or cross-country trucks......)
perpetual motion : )
Well I have no idea since a search did not reveal any indication that it had been posted before.....
Since human fat is like lard (saturated fat) and hardens at room temperature what does he do to keep it from becoming solid in the tank and the lines to the engine?
"A liposuction clinic. Pay dirt! The richest, creamiest fat in the world.
The fat of the land!"
I am surprised this works.
Didn’t read the whole story, but he must have had it
processed in some way beyond the “used cooking grease”, which also needs to be filtered and cleaned up before it
is used in cars/vehicles already adapted to burn it.
It’s called “the greasecar movement”.
NOw it seems even highly paid plastic surgeon types are trying to economize/

Add a few chemicals & a little heat - and it catalyzes into various component parts - it’s just another biodiesel.
Reading the whole story reveals a “doctor” just as flaky and unethical as the first paragraph would suggest. He had his license pulled recently because he let unlicensed people do tricky procedures involving lipo needles by themselves. Three patients wound up disfigured according to their lawyer.
