This is the juicy part. There were some autographs given, but I would want one too. Probably good way to help pay for Christmas.

The president elect spent about an hour with the troops. Obama Transition aides say that Obama did not eat with the uniformed men and women he ate at his beach home with his family and friends Christmas night. That's because they didn't serve Spam wrapped with seaweed.

I got a kick out of the comments following the article.
Did you know that Obama was elected in a "near landslide", and accomplished an "overwhelming victory"?
MY idea of a "near landslide" is at least 49 states.
...out of all 57.

Notice how the soldiers, sailors, and Marines all cheered and clapped for Reagan and both Bushes when they were President, but were "reserved and polite" for Clinton and Obama?

Fake little femmy bastard wouldn’t have lasted until we walked off the yellow footprints.
He shouldn’t be allowed on a Marine base.

I cannot imagine any marine (the warriest of the warriers) evening wanting to look at the Obamaloon - ‘twould be sort of like a Klingon looking at a tribble.

the scene in the picture looks to be one where the air is thick enough to use a jackhammer on.

“Every one of those fine Marines and Sailors had to show a valid, verifiable and certified copy of their Birth Certificate to enter the Armed Forces of the United States. How ironic that their presumed new Commander-in-Chief seems to be exempt from that Constitutional requirement, thanks to the do-nothings on the Supreme Court and elsewhere in the federal court system.”

Commisar-in-Chief-to-be is not awe-inspiring to common sense traditional Americans....
Wacko's, criminals, Hollywooders, and free-riders are his followers......he should be picking up a pattern there.
However, as long as the major metro areas have the numbers, he can poll well and win. God save the Electoral College; it's the only hope the rational Americans have.

Another very visible signal is the lack of people wanting their picture taken with him. Even Hillary had a whole host of people who wanted a photo with her.
