During the campaign, Obama relentlessly attacked the Bush administration for what he called failed, tired policies that have harmed the country. The White House has sought to make clear that politics will not affect the transition in any way.
But sources inside the White House say that Bush has mentioned several scenarios which could ultimately postpone the swearing in of President-elect Obama. (emphasis added)
Described as a delicate dance in which the White House keeps the president-elect in the loop, and even solicits his input, but the decisions remain solely the president's.
Officials at the Department of Homeland Security caution that the U.S. is in a heightened state of alert against terrorism. The fear is that enemies could exploit the transition period to test the country's defenses, as Bush himself warned.
No specific threat has been presented to the public.

Old news, but I have not seen this before.
Bill Clinton was quoted as saying the inauguration has been postponed in U.S. history only two times. What were those two times?

“Zach Taylor (postponed from March 4 - a Sunday - to March 5)”
Wasn’t someone sworn in during this 1-day period? (I had a history teacher that said so, don’t recall every looking it up afterwards)

The inauguration should be postponed until Obama reveals his Certificate of live birth ( COLB) that he has spend over a million bucks hiding from the public.
How come the public doesn't know where Obama was born?
The Obama presidency is a fiasco from beginning to end, even before inauguration.

He can be sworn in as President anywhere at noon on January 20th. The Inauguration can be canceled if necessary. Ronald Reagan’s inaugural ceremony was canceled because of weather and done inside the capitol in 1985.

When contacted to respond the White House had no comment. I would hope not, not for something as stupid as this. Obama becomes president on January 20th and there is nothing the president can do to change that or delay it.

DAVID RICE ATCHISON, 1807-1886
President of the U.S. One Day
Upon the expiration of Vice President Dallas’ term, Missouri Senator Atchison was elected by his fellow senators to temporarily fill the Vice President’s role as President Pro Tempore of the Senate. As such, when President Polk’s term expired at noon on Sunday and until President Taylor was sworn in the following day, Senator Atchison was technically and legally the acting President of the United States for one day.

"January 20 was a Sunday, and the President took the oath of office, administered by Chief Justice Warren Burger, in the Grand Foyer of the White House. Weather that hovered near zero that night and on Monday forced the planners to cancel many of the outdoor events for the second inauguration. For the first time a President took the oath of office in the Capitol Rotunda. The oath was again administered by Chief Justice Burger. Jessye Norman sang at the ceremony."
Reagan took his public oath of office on Monday, January 21, 1985. Washington's weather was bitterly cold and people were advised to stay indoors if at all possible.

The money in your wallet is being magically shrunk by the Federal reserve & US Treasury by printing Billions of dollar bills which look exactly like just like yours in your wallet.

I personally don't care what day his regime takes power. As far as I'm concerned, it will be the day I consider myself a partisan trapped in Occupied Territory.
