Warren invitation
I am a 68-year-old gay woman. As a longtime political watcher I have seen President Bush signal his conservative bona fides by sacrificing gays to the Karl Rove hatchet attacks. Now as an Obama supporter I see the invitation of conservative preacher Rick Warren to offer up a blessing at the inauguration as a big slap in the face for gays. This is a major misstep for the Obama team. It panders to the right-wing soft bigots like Warren (who just condemn homosexuality, not gays per se).
Del Whan

Del Whan only wants change and unity if it comes in the manner with which she agrees.
Are you aware that Obama and Warren have exactly the same view/position on gay marriage?
Probably not.
Boo-Hoo-Hoo
This is symbolic only. Obama’s judicial picks will impose Gay marriage if give the chance. A win-win for Obama. Gay’s will stick with him. Like Clinton and sister Soldier, blacks still worshiped Clinton.
Pardon me whilst I go stab my mind's eye with an ice-pick.
An accusation without evidence to prove the fact. Hmmmm...
This is how they think.
It is calculated and planned.
Christians believe homosexuality is a sin.
Therefor, Christians are right-wing bigots.
Being a bigot is a hate crime.
Christianity must be outlawed.
God bless and pass the ammo.
Dear women GET OVER IT! Your grown up enough to know the WORLD DOESN’T CATER TO SAME SEX USERS! You do not equal me. I am MARRIED, which is only possible with a MAN! I do not like you and your kind.
Gee, Whan is she ever going to learn?
First of all there are no gay people. There are homosexuals, bisexuals, transgenders and lesbians. The homosexual lobby hijacked the word gay. I defy you to tell me that they are gay. Angry? Yes. Fanatical? Absolutely.
These people are sexually abnormal. They are determined to force everyone elseto accept the notion that they are normal. They are not. Period!
Personally, I couldn’t care less what Del Whan thinks. It is not bigotry to oppose the idea of members of the same sex entering into a formal union, (marriage) that has been recognized since the beginning of time in every society and nation.
I just wish they would shut up and go live their lives. What they do in the privacy of their homes is nothing to me. Del, get out of my face with your sniveling.
You beat me to it;I think of a 68 year old gay woman and get queasy.Things that make you go-blecchh!
