I wish someone would seriously explain to me why drugs dealers should be pardoned but Compean & Ramos shouldn't.

Is it a matter of money or what because I would be glad to donate to the Bush library if that is all that is needed.

I just don’t understand. Where the hell is Bush’s ‘compassionate conservatism’ now? this whole escapade just flat out makes me sick!

Refusing to pardon Ramos and Compean is just total anti-Americanism.

Maybe Boosh is taking money from the drug-dealers....seems they are the only ones who get pardons

As far as I’m concerned, when the so-called future history writers who will look back on the Bush Presidency and “vindicate” him for how he handled the WOT, I do hope they will also include this in their legacy writing.

That’s what they get for shooting a CIA drug courier.

There will be no forgiveness.

The single act of pardoning these two men would do more to bolster the legacy of this RINO presidency than any other.

It is unconscionable that Ramos and Compean continue to languish in prison, testimony to the insanity that are political correctness and moral relativism.

Mr. Bush, it’s time to right this wrong. Quickly.

Tuesday, President George W. Bush granted pardons to 19 people and commuted the sentence of one person, according to the Justice Department -- but the names of two jailed Border Patrol agents were conspicuously absent.

Thus ended any hopes of a Christmas commutation of sentence for Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean in the shooting case of Mexican drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila.

This is a sad day for the Republican party. Bush's lack of compassion in connection with Ramos and Campeon is unforgiveable. It shows me that Bush is part of the elite who rule not according to the wishes of the people, especially if the people do not have connections or money. The Republicans are almost as corrupt and callous as the Democrats. We need a sea change in the Republican party.

This shows the inherent evil in George W Bush.

No matter what good he’s done — and he’s undoubtedly done some — he has an evil streak a foot wide going right up his back. Like a skunk.

It has nothing to do with drug dealers. What it has to do with is Bush’s unspoken agreement with Mexico that anything that is positive for them will be promoted at the expense of the US. Immigration, smuggling, drug dealing, gun running, border protection. Look at everything Bush has done concerning Mexico and it’s more of a “good neighbor” policy than our national security.

Curious..........

Does anyone know how many of the pardons issued by President Bush since he’s been in office were to people still serving their incarcerations?
