President-elect Barack Obama attended a memorial service this afternoon for his grandmother, who helped raise him.
Things are seldom what they seem...
I’m certainly not going to flame you. And you are not the first person to mention it.
Just, well, damn.
I need to get into politics....

Might I suggest that you develop a weekly food plan, and design your meals to meet all your nutritional needs, and stock the foods you will actually look forward to eating on a weekly basis.
If you have, or suspect that you might have very little ones under your care, make sure you have food that they can eat. If you suspect you might have women of child-bearing age, be prepared for that. You know what I mean.
And, water is the biggest problem. Each individual needs at least 1 gallon a day. We can live a lot longer without food than we can water.
Want to know how much water it takes to flush a toilet? Save up a gallon and see if it works, if you haven’t flushed for a day.
And, don’t forget a few hand can openers, so you can stretch those canned soups with rice you have stored. Have you stored wheat and yeast, so you can make bread?
Just wondering how prepared we all are to deal with whatever comes our way. It could be tornadoes, earthquakes, ice-storms, hurricanes, “emps”, or whatever.
Considering the “just-in-time” inventory system used by most of our local supermarket chains, we are smart to have storage shelves in our basements, so we do not have to suffer because the shelves are empty when we want to buy something essential.
Now, let’s go look at the magnificent “elected one’s pecs” again, and think of how the “incredible He” has honored the one solo grandmother who worked to give him a good life.
What a useless self-centered wanna-be! And, his wife too! Karma will get them, and I will be waiting. But, I will also pray for their souls, for I feel so very sorry for them. They are going for brass, thinking it is gold.
I first became curious when people were pointing out that Jr had a passport. I know that U.S. passports are renewed every 10 years and that when children are young they aren’t always issued their own passport but their information is included on their mother’s passport. I started surfing as I had shattered my upper right arm and the more I read the more discrepancies I discovered in the various stories. I set about to learn as much as I could and now let other people know about information I have learned. When Jr goes to HI I start checking the HI websites, and I mentally bet on how long before citizens of HI start to express their frustration with the presstitutes and their open adoration of Jr. It does become comical when a minute by minute schedule is printed day after day.
Could he be available by satellite phone?

No but I sure wish I was with all this gorebull warming going on! Brrrrrrrrrr present temperature here is -18. Surfing on the internet can be done rather well with only one good arm and a touchpad on a laptop! I sure have learned a lot during that surfing!
