Obama attends memorial for his grandmother By Associated Press
POSTED: 04:50 p.m. HST, Dec 23, 2008
President-elect Barack Obama attended a memorial service this afternoon for his grandmother, who helped raise him.
Aides said Obamas half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, and her husband, Konrad Ng, also were present.
Good question for which we will never have an answer! She died late the night of the 2nd, the body was removed by 3:30 am Monday morning, the urn of ashes was returned Tuesday morning and an apartment lived in for 40 years was cleaned out by Nov. 6th. Sure would have been nice to see the dumpster the trash was put in!
Oh, just oh my.
She was cremated and her urn of ashes was returned to her apartment by the morning of Tuesday, November 4th.
Wonder if he took off his shirt and profiled for the camera, at the funeral?
She did attend services at a local church while she was mobile but it was never mentioned if Stanley did as well. Once she was no longer mobile she probably missed services.
Its satire
How nice! Beloved Leader took time off from the beach to say bye bye to Grams, even if she was just a typical white person. Talk about racial healing.
His half sister and brother in law attended but any mention of Michelle and the girls is absent from both stories!
I have to be doing something wrong. How does a person who had nothing go from middle class to super rich in a heartbeat.
Just, well, damn.
I need to get into politics....
The whole day was one big photo op
It is, and most make fools of themselves not recognizing it as such - a good reason for cynicism.
Read the article posted at #11.
I note Obama waited until Rush was done for the year to have the service
It's all in the type of community you organize.
Thats right... poor little Barry, from indonesian street urchin to superstar. Aint it amazing?
Oops my mistake, I neglected to notice that Michelle and the girls are mentioned in the story posted at #11. I apologise.
The wacked out libs in the MSM sure do love this guy!
