Here ya go!
You Spread a Lot of Holiday Cheer |
You give freely, and you enjoy this special time of the year. There's a good chance that you spread cheer every time of the year... not just during the holidays. You're kind, upbeat, and generous. Anyone who crosses your path is lucky. |
On Christmas Eve 2003, noted painter Makoto Fujimura gathered with other artists for a party at Sato Museum in Tokyo. Many had donated their works for a benefit exhibit to raise money for children in Afghanistan. After the meal, Mr. Fujimura, an ardent Christian who lives in New York, shared some words about the true meaning of Christmas and their opportunity as artists to create works that help bring hope into the world.
Reflecting on that event, Fujimura wrote: I was convinced, that evening in Tokyo, that Jesus invited Himself to be among artists who may not even know His name. Some of these artists, I suspect, have already sensed His presence in their studios as they labored to create peace via their paintings. All gifts of creativity, like the Magis [star], point straight to a stable in Bethlehem.
Paul said that God is at work among people of all nations so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:27-28).
We should be alert for the Lords presence where we least expect to see Him. Jesus may invite Himself to any Christmas party. After all, its His birthday.

BOO!

You Spread Some Holiday Cheer |
You don't always spread cheer to everyone, but you do the best. Unlike most people, you actually spend time reflecting on the meaning of the holidays. And you worry more about doing the right thing than getting the right presents. |
I took a picture of a family by the tree in Rockerfeller Center. "Dad" had just taken a picture of the other three.
Then gave money to Salvation Army (first time, I avoided eye contact with the other three), and when passing Lord & Taylor's windows, stopped to chat with a family, and mentioned Nintendo World. The kids' eyes lit up and I gave them directions to the store (although, sorry, "Mom", I didn't have the exact address, like she would have wanted).
Oh, and I don't know if they were tourists or just lost, but I helphed some ladies and their kdis get from 34th St to 14th Street on the L train.
I put in a good day's work. I needed to store up some goodwill. hadn't been feeling the season all too much up 'til then. haven't even listened to too many of my Christmas CDs. Or Patrick Stewart reading "A Christmas Carol".

Merry Christmas to everyone here in the Canteen from my family to yours.
You are all a wonderful group of people and I’m blessed to know all of you via FR.
God Bless you and yours during this most wonderful of times.
1. How do you feel about somebody giving money to a charity in your name as a gift?
* You’re annoyed by the idea
* You’re delighted by the idea
definitely annoying!
2. You wake up Christmas morning to snow. You feel like:
* It’s magical. You love it.
* It’s frustrating. Snow creates problems.
I love it.
3. A rather irritating acquaintance mentions she’ll be spending the holidays alone. You:
* Invite her over for dinner
* Suggest that she goes to a movie
Why would you spend time with someone you dont like even if it is Christmas? Why would you tell them to see a movie?
4. Some Christmas carolers come to your door? You:
* Smile and listen. It’s a lovely surprise.
* Listen but can’t wait until it’s over.
I would listen and hand out cookies if I had them
5. You’re out running errands, and you pass the Salvation Army santa. You:
* Rush past and don’t make any eye contact
* Drop in a little money
Which time? The first time, or the 500th time this month?
6. It’s your turn to host Christmas dinner. You:
* Get takeout from the grocery store
* Cook up multi-course homemade meal
What do you mean turn? this aint spin the bottle.
7. If you need to get someone you don’t know well a gift, you get them:
* A gift basket or a gift card
* A nice bottle of wine or a nice version of a classic book
Someone I dont know well? you mean like the girl that works at Hooters?
8. When it comes to people who help you out during the year (like your postal carrier), you:
* Don’t give them anything
* Give them a card, small gift, or tip
Postal carrier? help me out? its his job a cushy federal job.
9. When it comes to Christmas music, you:
* Avoid it as much as possible
* Have a few favorites you like to hear

10. After Christmas, you’re more likely to feel...
* Disappointed
* Thankful
I’m thankful all the time. whats it to ya?
