A while back, I sent an email (see linked thread) to the Governor of Missouri and copied both my State Representative and Speaker of the Missouri House. I received one reply (thus far) and it was from my State Rep. He told me he would query the Secretary of State regarding what she did to validate Mr. Obama's credentials. What follows is the reply from the office of the Secretary of State to my representative's assistant, and my reply.
Good Morning:
Please find attached information received from the Secretary of States office regarding qualifications to appear on the Presidential ballot.
Thanks,
Dee

Hi Dee Ellen,
The Missouri Secretary of States Office complies with the United States Constitution and applicable federal laws when placing candidates for federal office on the ballot.
According to Article II of the United States Constitution, No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States. Please feel free to contact the Federal Election Commission if you need further clarification on this issue.
Thanks!

And my response....
Madam,
I hope you are at the very least as insulted by this,at best, evasive response as I am. I am well aware of what the constitution says. Furthermore, what relevance to my question does the Federal Elections Commission bare? My question has nothing to do with campaign financing.
Please allow me to rephrase my question in further effort to have it answered directly:
How, specifically and literally, did the Secretary of the State of Missouri validate the basic constitutional qualifications of Mr. Obama in order for his name to appear on Missouri ballots for the presidential election.
At this point, I request Mr. Cunningham personally inquire this of the actual Secretary of State.
Thank you for your assistance.
Good for you. Keep on ‘em!
I just wished more people would realize how dire the danger to our constitution is on this issue and others.
This is a fool’s errand; the people who recieve and respond these emails are in actuality unpaid interns or, at best, low-level staffers.
Please also request of them to put a law or state constitutional amendment to force certified birth certificates to be admitted to be on the ballot in the 2012 election. The fraud may have gotten past us this time, but we can force his hand for the next election.
We need to get this in as many states as possible. Force the crooked Democrats hand. I know they know he isn’t eligible.
Besides...isn't Missouri supposed to be the “Show Me State.”
