UAW - would anyone notice if hard-working, disgusted people started hauling the union’s members out and shooting them, one by one?

I just told my very liberal sister about the drinking instead of working and she said there are better controls needed and I said it won’t work because of the union protection - at which she refused to discuss it anymore except to say that the CEOs are worse.

This from a person who has refused to ever buy another Ford because they keep falling apart.

ARRRGH!

I met my good friend's nephew for the first time last week because he is a firearms afficionado. He is a "Tinsmith" and affiliated with a union. He has also been on layoff for a few months now.

When I mentioned to him that I might be able to turn him on to a "contracting" employer, he informed me that because he belongs to this union he can not accept any non-union job working in his trade. If he does, they will nail him by making him pay back all monies associated with training him and can even take his pension away from him.

He was once an official with his union and had even taken an active stand to have an ex-supervisor in this union who was working non-union, penalized and forced to repay the union over $18,000.00...........

My senior softball team is trying to get Jamboozies to sponsor us. A couple weeks ago we were in there on a Wednesday for lunch and I could swear that the guys on the video were the same guys who were in there when we were..........LOL!

Heads need to roll on this one! Supervisors need to be fired, plant security needs to be fired and the UAW workers need to be fired but will probably be reinstated after about a 4 week disciplinary layoff........;

I was an employer ....we had agreements with the Laborers, Plumbers and Electricians and this lasted over 30 years. What a bunch of low life crooks. The unions refused to enforce their own agreements with our customers when they hired our non union competitors and we were forced to compete with non-union labor. The only thing the union did was squeeze us for ever nickel they could. Once we had a driver who was arrested for DUI in our LARGE dump truck. We told him to find his own way home out of jail and he whined to the union and they forced us to pay him while he got himself home the next day.

We have another business now - non-union.

Not to condone the activity, but Ford was the only of the big three that did not accept bail-out money.

Perhaps that's why they are getting this media scrutiny.

Ha! A caller to Rush’s show last week was talking about this practice. He was concerned about working with these folks, when they came back from lunch, toasted.

Well, living in SE Michigan would mess with my senses, too. But not to the point of being a scumbag like these guys.

That’s a cheap price to pay to GTFO.

Ask him what he prefers - no job and no money, or a non-union job and some money?
