Levi Johnston's Mother Arrested On Drug Charges

(Wasilla, AK) -- The mother of Levi Johnston, who gained fame as the boyfriend of Bristol Palin, was arrested in Wasilla, Alaska Thursday on six felony drug charges. The "Anchorage Daily News" reports that Sherry Johnston was arrested at her home and charged with manufacturing or delivering drugs, as well as possession.

Johnston is the mother of 18-year-old Levi Johnston, who became the focus of media attention when Governor Sarah Palin announced her teenage daughter was pregnant and he was the father. Levi Johnston sat with the Palin family at the Republican National Convention in September when Sarah Palin accepted her party's nomination for vice president. Bristol Palin's baby boy is reportedly due Saturday.

The 42-year-old Sherry Johnston had apparently been the target of an investigation by Alaska State Troopers for some time, the "Daily News" reports. Troopers didn't release any information about the kinds of drugs involved, saying it might jeopardize an ongoing investigation. Sherry Johnston was freed on five-thousand dollars bond.

First of all this is from one of the news services I use at WSHH Pittsburgh. There is NO web link.

Secondly you know the moonbats will bleat this forever. Of course they will remain silent about Ayers, Wright, Davis, Rezko, et al.

Not that it's conclusive... but the photo makes me think more pot than meth.

A rat friend of mine has a sister in Alaska. She has claimed that Wasilla is the Coke/meth capital of the state.

Sadly he'll be rubbing my nose in this for a LONG time. Wamma bet the story gets LOTS of MSM coverage...sigh.

Seriesly... How stupid do you gotta be to be involved in drugs out of your own home when your family is peripherally involved in one of the biggest media bru-ha-has of the last hundred years?

Prohibition sucks.

Yes it does. But you gotta make the call...

Are you gonna live within the law, or are you gonna live outside the law? If you decide to live outside the law, this sort of thing is going to happen to you from time to time.

Now this is big stuff, I am so glad the MSM was on top of this and exposed it to me, I'll be able to sleep better at night knowing this.

I sure hope they stay on top of this and give us all the details just like they did on our current President elect. /sarc

I’m really sorry that Bristol’s dating was not supervised by her parents. There’s alot of wisdom to the old adage of asking “Is he from a good family?”. Yes, the Democrats/news media (same thing) will not let this leave the news any time soon. Have any of our other Presidents had children involved with lowlifes? Maybe so, but I don’t like it. Just my opinion, of course.

bet the story gets LOTS of MSM coverage

I'm sure it will get much more play than the arsonist who tried to burn down the Governor's church while trapping women and children inside.

Wow--the mother of the boyfriend of the daughter of the failed vice presidential candidate--busted for drug charges!!!!!

Oh, lordy, thank goodness the MSM are reporting such important information to us! Wherever would we be without them and this stunning information?!?!?!?!? Now I can start my day, informed!

When are they going to report that the father of the President-elect's daughters used to do drugs?! ?!?!?!??!?!?! :P

This would qualify her for a Senator’s seat in Illinois. If she has connections to Iraqi arms dealers, Syrian real estate financiers and a group that has killed cops and to bombed government sites in Washington DC then the presidency could be hers!
