I ususally hear, "It's a [insert ethnic group] thing, you wouldn't understand."
To quote the Glimmer Twins....
“Ya can’t always get what you wa-ant!
Ya can’t always get what you wa-ant!”
Except its illegal to sell live animals on Ebay.
Try again, quiz kid.
Know state laws before you make sweeping pronouncement, Mr. Knowitall.
Circumcision of boys is often done for religious reasons and under anesthesia.
Docking and clipping of dogs’ ears and tails is done by licensed Veterinarians also under anesthesia.
Not by some dumb emo broad who probably looks like a pincushion operating out of her basement with no anesthesia to turn an illegal buck on Ebay.
Apples and oranges.
Yeah, they may give authority to wacko lefty freaks but no matter their color of authority they are still worthless fascist freaks.
Ha! I couldn't walk for nearly a YEAR afterwards!
Animal control officers aren’t all lefty freaks.
I know several and they’re possibly more conservative than you are. There recently was a large dog-fighting operation that was taken down by Animal control and Humane officers here in Pittsburgh recently. They did a fine job.
How many beers have you been drinking so far today?
Disobey one and see how fast you go directly to jail and don’t pass Go or collect $200.
Simple solution, just report the baby's ear piercing to the proper authorities. That should assuage your conscience......
Obviously you're not aware than an animal's ears are highly developed and sensitive due to their evolutionary survival.
As for the submission rings placed in their tails, well, since you don't have a tail let me suggest where one is placed on you.........then again it probably won't be noticed.
According to this source:
http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/13585.html
"Of physicians performing circumcision, 45% use anesthesia, most commonly dorsal penile block with lidocaine (71% of pediatricians, 56% of family practitioners, and 25% of obstetricians). Those physicians who reported not using anesthesia cited concern about adverse effects and a belief that circumcision does not warrant anesthesia.7"
While most vets do use anesthesia the reason is because it is easier for them to perform the operation with the puppy unconscious rather than any special concern for the well being of the animal. Indeed breeders often do the procedure themselves and without anesthesia because they believe anesthesia is more dangerous for the puppy than the procedure itself. It is neither unethical or against the law to do these procedures without anesthesia.
I’d like to meet that guy in a dark alley one night when I’m in a really bad mood.
None. How many govt agents’ butts have you kissed today?
Babies' ears aren't sensitive?
As for the submission rings placed in their tails, well, since you don't have a tail let me suggest where one is placed on you.........then again it probably won't be noticed.
Why make this personal? Lets discuss the issues without the little personal jabs... mmkay?
But underlying your comment is a notion that animals are equivalent to people. I really do hope you do not hold that view.
Holy Sheeite!
