President-elect reveals how parenting tricks in shaming children influenced his management theory:

Barack Obama's coronation as Time magazine's person of the year is not a terribly great surprise, and the subsequent interview covers quite a bit of familiar ground, albeit in a very nicely-written way. However, there are few gems among the pages which stand out – one in particular when Obama is drawn on his management technique. The general theory is guilt first, followed by fear...

Actually, liberals love the concept of sin. They also love that the only reconciliationfor sin is giving liberals more tax money to play with. Some examples of “sins” include cigarettes, soda pop, SUV’s, denying mann-made global warming etc.

The European press has been all over this for weeks. There is little doubt where we are headed among those who can recall living through Il Duce’s rise and reign.

Guilt the people > Frighten the people > Divide the people > Conquer the people > Enslave the people. Endgame.

OMG!! That is EXACTLY what I keep telling my dad. The press want to make his stuttering out to be some sort of genius mind that has to work hard to put thoughts together to explain to all us simple folk. But in reality it is an act! He can’t string a sentence together. He’s not a doddering idiot or anything, but nowhere NEAR the genius he is portrayed to be.

I’m telling you, I was married to a man who came from a batch of gypsies and they were the biggest cons in the area (I was niave and stupid and new to the area) and I can see a con from a mile away. He is a huge phoney. Might have a fancy suit, but he’s a phoney nonetheless. And his wife is just plain mean. Nothing to do with race, or that a strong woman is a B*tch, because being a B*tch isn’t always a bad thing. But she just has mean eyes.

You are so right, they make him out to be such an intellectual, and that finger over the mouth thing annoys the pee out of me too.

Ack, I can’t even describe the feeling in my gut when I see him or even hear him speak. I seriously have to turn the channel because my stomach clenches into a knot. I hope I’m not a victim of ODS. I don’t THINK there is an irrational fear of this man, but I can’t help what my instinct is telling me. No matter how silly Keith Olberman or Chris Matthews think I am for not adoring their Messiah.

The general theory is guilt first, followed by fear...

Religious conservatives ought to love this guy - he's speaking their language. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gain a lot of support in traditionally Republican areas by 2012. The authoritarian ruler always wins the loyalty of a certain personality type, regardless of his actual policies.

Apparently no one has made him feel guilty for not giving his grandmother a funeral or even a personal send off

an empty narcissistic shell of a person

Using guilt of course has been his ticket to the top

But it ain't gonna work with North Korea and Iran

He hasn’t taken office, yet!
If we have learned nothing else from watching the two year campaign, we have learned that what he says is of no consequence. His first moves will say a lot more. If he fails to seriously overreach in his power, then I will be pleasantly surprised.
Keep your powder dry, both physically and figuratively.

“...his management technique...”

what has he ever managed other than his office staff??

I believe it has been confirmed that Axelrod managed his campaign and kept Obama away from the nuts and bolts of managing the organization.

so what has he managed??

Nervously LOL @ the image of Kid Zed on the red phone with NoKo/Iran, a la Peter Sellers in Dr. Strangelove:

“Dimitri? Errrr . . . ummmm . . . Dimitri? Zed here. Say . . . errrr . . . ummmm . . . I hope I . . . ummmmm . . . well. . . .”

Guilt implies ‘sin’, and liberals don’t normally like the concept of sin.

Sure they do. Their concept of sin is anything against Gaia, Mother Earth. They'll dish that out by the shovelful. And make you PAY.

In no particular order, he has “managed” to dupe the majority of what was once the most God-fearing, productive, intelligent, capable, principled, freedom-loving electorate in the world.

Other than that, he has managed nothing.

That is spooky stuff — “The Cult of Obama”...

More and more he reminds me of Idi Amin. Or Pharaoh King of Egypt.

Really? So if this is what the “Religious” conservitive would subscribe to, what would the “Non-Religious” conservative subscribe to?
