I predict that Obama will not reach out in aide to other countries. He is going to get a taste of power and suddenly not be so interested in one world government or helping the downtrodden in the world. Being the president of the world’s superpower is a rush that democrats get addicted to quickly and humanitarian causes disappear. That’s why Ex Democratic presidents scramble to do something humanitarian, because they don’t do diddly in office.
Not his people. Darfur is a long way from Kenya, and those people haven’t got much in common.

The remaining slavers and headhunters in the world all seem to be Moslem. And we are more and more redesigning America to be more suitable for these people.
The Darfur residents are Moslem but among Moslems there is a very definite hierarchy of value and the black African Moslems (including Darfurians)are at the bottom of that particular ladder and are regarded by higher quality- Arab- Moslems in North Africa and the Middle East as proper subjects for slavery- for their own good as well as the convenience of the Masters.

I believe the Christians are mostly further south- slave raiding targets of another Sudanese civil war that is much less in the news of late as there was a “settlement” last year, I believe. The thing that perplexes the left is that Darfur is explicitly Moslems raiding and enslaving Moslems. The killing and/or enslavement of Christians is understandable and of little significance but this is unsettling.
They ain't, strictly speaking, "his people." The Obama is a Luo on his Dad's side. The Luo were early converts to Islam and intermarried with Arab slavers, of which lineage they are very proud, considering themselves much superior to the other tribes of Kenya, in particular, the Kikuyu. Historically, the Luo were very effective and willing participants in the Arab slave trade.
In just the last couple of years, the Luo marxist and jihadist, Raile Odinga, was personally supported by our POTUS-elect in his election campaign. Obamba raised over $1million in this country for Odinga, and then, accompanied by Dick Morris(!), stumped all over Kenya with Odinga, making speech after speech. With Obamba standing beside him, Odinga swore to bring Sharia law to Kenya.
Losing his election bid, he then led the Luo in a violent uprising that cost over 1500 Christian and Kikuyu lives, and during which, 800 Christian churches were burned to the ground.
This was news on the BBC and even on Youtube, but no one here made mention of it during the campaign. Odinga became Prime Minister as part of a UN Truce Deal to prevent further bloodshed. He will also be an honored Inaugural guest.
