I normally don't stay up late enough to watch Late Night with David Letterman, but I happened to catch a little of it Thursday night, when Sen. John McCain was on. David Letterman make a rude joke about Gov. Sarah Palin, and John McCain laughed at it. That is when I realized I am done with John McCain.
. . . . .
If I were Rod Blago, I'd use some nice four-letter words to describe how I feel about Sen. McCain, but I'm not, so I won't.
. . . . .
I'm glad Sen. McCain didn't win the election. This way, I don't have to defend him anymore. If he were president, and he screwed up, or did something that was moderate, Republicans would have gotten the blame.
I'm washing my hands of Sen. McCain.
I'm tired of defending RINOs.
I'm not doing it anymore, and I know many in the Republican party are tired of it, too.

I remember having a favorable image of him, but in the back of my mind it seems he did something that folks may key on negatively. I may be wrong though. He could be a good guy. I’ve seen others mention it.
It would be hard to find a guy as bad as McCain.
It would not be a little enclave. It would be the entire South minus Florida and N. Carolina and possibly Virginia. Then Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Both Dakotas, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. The eastern half of Oregon, Washington and California and lots of Nevada would most likely come along. Then there’s Arizona and Utah.
We would simply stop paying fed taxes, reinstitute the true Constitution of the United states and put the new capital in a central location. Say Wichita or Oklahoma City.
The New United states would quickly become an economic powerhouse, attract investment form all over the world. Draw most of the conservatives from all the blue states and prosper beyond measure.
Soon the blue enclaves would succumb, ask to join us and give up liberalism as a failed system. The states could then join again as the contiguous New United States.
As to the blue cities infecting red America. Let the libertines amoung us emmigrate.
Its the only way. Nothing short of this will ever work.
Yeah...well...I need medication and you need a foot up your ass. Probably neither is going to happen though. :-)
Hayworth has excellent name ID which would help. {He's also a former TV sportscaster.}
Just make sure you take more than you need - much, much more.
If he’s deeply entrenched, let’s cover him over and replace him.
Hayworth may be just the right guy. I’d support someone who wasn’t the right guy to get McCain out of there. That dufus has got to go.
Ditto for you....with the foot that is. :-)
It might’ve been something to do with his wife being on his payroll or being paid by his campaign; you know, stuff they readily accept from Dems but hound Republicans out of office for.
Cedric, I can’t remember what it was so I don’t want to cloud other people’s perception of the guy. For now let’s assume he’s a real good guy with no down sides. Someone here will correct us if there’s a need to. I was just trying to be honest about the guy, and revealing what my gut impression was. I could have been a tad off.
Take care.
You, too.
Lisa Loring? The little gal who played Wednesday on the Addams Family in the 1960s?
And I'm tired of voting for them.
McC probably would have had the same cabinet as O.
I have been in the same world as you for oh since I voted FOR Reagan. Since then it has been selecting the least dangerous for the country.
Wouldn’t doubt it...
I said "Republic" way, not RepubliCAN way. See #44.
Thanks. Sorry to have misread the word you used.
No apology required. I just wouldn’t want you or any other FRiend to think I meant just any other Republican. That state needs a conservative.
Thanks. And I agree.
