TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona Sen. John McCain, back in his home state, says he looks forward to working with President-elect Obama on the country's economic ills.
McCain, talking Tuesday to the Tucson Citizen's editorial board, said the incoming president will be setting the nation's legislative agenda, and he's not sure where immigration reform falls among Obama's top priorities.
But McCain said it's an issue that needs to be addressed.

With our economy in the toilet and the unemployment rate climbing, do Americans really need to deal with the poverty from other countries. I think we need to hold off on the “immigrant” gig until we get this mess straightened out. I don’t think we have a shortage of people on welfare and umemployment right now.

McCain on the illegal aliens, in an interview with The Tucson Citizen's editorial board today: "I'll tell you again, and I'm not ashamed or embarrassed: These are God's children and there has to be a humane solution."

There's a reason this a-hole came in last in his class (almost) at Annapolis.

I guess Sarah doesn’t deserve the same humane treatment from McCain. He’ll gladly stab her in the back! To paraphrase a historic quote...Will no one rid me of this vile Senator?

Now McCain, you worthless RINO, the issue does not need to be addressed.
The law needs to be enforced.

I think McCain should be worried about 2010 re-election to the Senate. He could be in big trouble. Does anyone know when Joe the plumber’s book is coming out. I am curious to see what Joe has written about McCain.

I hope he’s in trouble, career ending trouble, but I don’t know much about Arizona politics. I’d love for J. D. Hayworth to challenge and defeat the RINO maverick.

“Hehehe, Republicans wanted to make this guy president... Lets pick someone else next time.”
That was close...we almost elected McCain, which would have destroyed the Republican Party. Now that we’ve run their “moderate” candidate who was supposed to win that illusive “center” of the electorate, and got our butts wiped, can we please run a conservative, for once (in 32 years)?
Go Sarah!!
