That means that JJR was open to using influence, even if he didn’t do a $$$$ exchange in that instance. Why else would his wife have even been considered?

You haven’t seen anything yet, Obama’s pay to play will make all this look like child’s play. Starting with the unions, the enviro-nuts and continuing from there.

"He has shared information with federal prosecutors about public corruption during the past several years, including information about Blagojevich and others," Edmonds said.Information or misinformation? Jesse Jackson Sr and Jr should not be trusted, even under oath.

a $25,000 campaign donation Yeah. I'm sure he would have spent in on yardsigns. This isn't just about Blagojevich. This is about everyone of the schmucks that prattles about being a "public servant."

If Blagojevich was blatantly doing this kind of stuff as far back as 2002...you just know his friend and supporter Obama had to get tangled up in something, somewhere, somehow between then and now.

Here's something that will probably NOT be discussed on the MSM. Barry came out of the same premordial soup as Blago. Blago (pg 64 in the complaint) was whining that he wanted the same deal(s) for Patty as Barry apparently got for Michelle-Omarosa - who got a board position for a Walmart supplier and a $370k job at the University of Chicago Hospital.
IMO, Blago is still holding out for the best deal possible.

"Blagojevich went out of his way to say, 'You know I was considering your wife for the lottery job and the $25,000 you didn't give me? That's why she's not getting the job,'" At what point is a Congressman obligated to report illegal corruption?

Money didn't need to change hands.
Just a threat to picket / boycott, some state gig or private business.
That is worth WAY more then $25K!
