HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Pedophile and convicted murder Ottis Toole abducted and killed Adam Walsh 27 years ago, Hollywood police Chief Chadwick Wagner announced Tuesday.
Authorities announced that they've finally solved the 1981 killing of the boy whose father later gained fame as the host of "America's Most Wanted."
Wagner said Tuesday that after a fresh review, he is ending the abduction and murder case of Adam Walsh.

I saw John Walsh give a statement at the press conference, and he just broke down and cried. I recall back in the 80s when he was beginnning his organization to help search for abducted children, and he never cried on camera, he was always stoic and stern. Today, my heart just broke for him.
Can Toole still vote? (We all know which party he’ll vote for.)

I have NO idea what I would do if someone took my son (who just turned 7 last week), but I only pray that I would be as strog as John Walsh has been.

He lived in Hollywood at the time of the abduction and, when he was arrested, two people came forward from different parts of the country to say that he was the man they saw in the Sears parking lot dragging a young boy on the day of the abduction.
On another note, I PRAY that this “Ottis Toole” THING is getting everything he deserves, and that he continues to get everything he deserves every day for the rest of eternity.

My heart has broken for him every day since 1981 murder. I had our first son in 1981. The case really hit me hard. God bless Adam and his family today and always. Rest in Peace Dear Sweet Adam.

IIRC, Ottis Toole died in prison about ten years ago. He was Henry Lee Lucas’ partner in crime.
As to eternity, I’m sure he got what he deserved!
One of John Walsh’s sons is the exact image of the little murdered son.
If I recall correctly from a book I read about the case. This guy, sent a letter to John Walsh bragging about how Adam cried as he was begin sexually assaulted.
Ahhhh. Henry Lee Lucas. I haven’t heard or seen HIS name in a long time.
There are truly some VILE people out there whom God allows to walk among us, aren’t there.
To me it is one of the great mysteries of life vis-avis a loving God. I mean, I understand sin, and falling short of the glory of God, etc... but.... Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole?
