Why sue? Since Universities clearly don’t serve the interests of true scholarship anymore, we should start treating them like the businesses that they are. If you don;t like their service, go get your degree elsewhere.

Mo State had a student sue for the same thing. She refused to do a class project that required her to write and sign a letter sent to the governor supporting gay adoption. The University settled out of court, then shook up the Social Work department.
This being the Ozarks, when word got out how far to the left the Social Work department was and the way the had treated the student because of her faith people were pretty upset.

"The questions I have in cases such as his — why would someone choose to affiliate with a profession that's so at odds with his beliefs and his value-base? That's always a question for me," she said.

Stupid woman doesn't get it, does she?

She is indoctrinated to think that conservatives are heartless, in fact conservatives believe in building REAL self esteem and self suffiency, not turning people into dependent "victims"

Hey, this could turn into a cottage industry for conservatives. Got to a liberal college, find some issue to get them hacked off at you, and then when you don’t graduate ... sue the pants off them. Free money!

I’ve been saving articles like this. SW school was certainly Liberal Indoctrination school for me. I finally had to drop one class because the teacher was so far left wing I couldn’t stand it anymore. I swear if I had the money I’d open an alternate school... the Limball Insitutue could have a satelite social worker campus or something. I barely escaped SW school and I never joined NASW (Nat Assoc of Soc Workers) although I’d save money and gain insurance, I can’t stand the politics! All of us non-libeal Sw’s are in the closet and we are fed up!

As a conservative, he needs to nut up and stop whining. Remember, living well is the best revenge.

“School of Social Work”

Well, duh. Of course it is going to be full of commies, fascists, and other State Worshipers. What did he expect?

Go to a school of engineering or science. Most of them will judge you by your work, not your politics (except for the “Global Warming” garbage, which is now a religion in certain sciences...)

A friend of mine had hoped to become a social worker and went to classes here in Fairbanks. He said every single professor was a marxist. If that is true here in Fairbanks, which I am sure it is, I can’t imagine the situation around the Country.

There is a set of “professional ethics” written into the Rhode Island licensing standards for various positions of “social workers” in that state.

They were written by the working “professionals” in the industry.

Those professional ethics standards essentially prescribe a socialist perspective as part-and-parcel of a social workers job in Rhode Island.

The colleges in Rhode Island have adopted the standards, and their language, lock-stock-and-barrel into the curriculum standards and accredited-degree “mission” for courses that Rhode Island schools offer that will lead to work as a “social worker”.

FIRE has been on this case for Mr. Felkner for years.
