The money quote, later in the article:
A day after the incident, al-Zeidi's three brothers and one sister gathered in al-Zeidi's simple, one-bedroom apartment in west Baghdad. The home was decorated with a poster of Latin American revolutionary leader Che Guevara, who is widely lionized in the Middle East.

Our very own msm reveres Che as well.
Didn’t one of O’s field operations office have a large poster of Che on the wall?

And the circumstances surrounding his alleged “kidnapping” are suspect too.

the bothersome fallout is that other news reports are that the perp is hailed as a hero throughout he arab world.
The people in Iraq need to understand that President Bush is the best friend the Iraqi have in all the world. In the face of tough opposition from left and right and from every corner of the globe, he has remained steady in their behalf. They are so blinded by Islam propaganda they cannot see what is.

This fellow throwing his shoe shows the changes for good that have occured in Iraq since America liberated them.
Apparently, the guards laid a pretty good beating on this guy. In the old Iraq he would’ve been shot, with multiple rounds, on the spot. He can thank George Bush for that.

His brother lives in Sadr City so that should tell you something. Maliki should level the place if he's truly sorry for what happened.
