One thing that surprises me is that with the exception of Washington DC & Samoa every one of these has been liberated from some dictatorship by the USMC. In the case of Guam twice. And no mention of them shows up. The boat on Guam should be an LVT-1.

Maybe we should start a petition so that the 2010 series would be a tribute to the branches of the armed forces?

One thing that surprises me is that with the exception of Washington DC & Samoa every one of these has been liberated from some dictatorship by the USMC.Well, the ARMY liberated DC from rioting thugs in 1968. My dad was one of the young men mobilized by LBJ for that purpose.
