Urgent, just reported: Al-Zaidi in U.S. run Camp Cropper prisonIraqi TV al-Sharqiya just reported on the news that AL-Zaidi is transferred to Camp Cropper prison [the Airport prison, managed by the American forces].
The TV Channel announced that Al-Zaidi is in a difficult condition, with broken ribs and signs of tortures on his thighs. Also he can not move his right arm.
Wow, there’s a lot of OTT visceral hatred directed at this man just for throwing a shoe at a politician. If somebody did this to Gordon Brown, my thoughts would be ‘obviously, the man needs to go to court for assault, spend a couple of weeks in jail and do some community service. Obviously, he should pay compensation to the victim. You can’t do this kind of thing in a civilised society and get off scott free’... But on the other hand I’d also be thinking ‘Good on him, that’ll teach the twot to have the gall to enter politics with the intention of telling everybody else what to do’.
Of course, I could also appreciate the ‘It was a silly, immature and pointless little stunt’ argument in place of the last part as well.....
Don’t be silly. This guy was taken into custody by Iraqi government security people. He is being treated according to their own customs.
“Also he can not move his right arm.”
At least it’s still attached to his body.
What would you do?
Would you kill him?
Have you noticed the term, ARAB? NOT MUSLIM, ARAB?
lol Arabs say the same thing about Persians.
If the SS had been doing their job, this guy would be dead and being tortured by his 73 Helen Thomas replicas, for all eternity.
WAR CRIME! :P
I got a buddy at Camp Cropper right now. I can’t wait until he gets back to tell me the real story.

Who cares? I surely don’t.
GOOD!! How DARE he throw anything at the leader of the free world!!
I read that he's a Saddamite, out of the country when the invasion occured. Fits since he works for an "independent" station out of Cairo. But he could be a Sadirist as Allegra postulated.
I want to know how and why such a person was allowed so close to our President. Those shoes could have just as easily been "shoe bombs". Or just coated with Anthrax, or lots of other nasty possibilties.
Remember it was a supposedly "independt camera crew, with an explosive camera, that killed the Anti-Taliban Afghan Northern Alliance commander, Afghan commander Ahmed Shah Massood right before 911 on Sept. 09, 2001.
All I can say is, Good!
Yes, this must be a fact. Let’s examine the chain of evidence. . .
According to the internet blog on Al Gore’s “Current TV” independent phony media network, which cites www.roadstoiraq.com blog page (below). That website has links with HTML default template text in the navigation boxes. But that’s just what I heard.

P.S.
I am just telling you what I heard on TV.
The story allows for that result. The title, however, is a presstitute lie.

The Muslim Arab world lives on fantasy. Always has.
The American invasion and regime change was, essentially, an attempt to force reality on what Fouad Ajami calls “the dream palace of the Arabs.” That’s why the Abu Ghraib stories were so damaging, and why the American-hating MSM jumped all over it, knowing the Abu Ghraib images would bring out the worst in the Arab world. And they continue to feed the fantasies that generate stories like this.
I bet he got a torn rotator cuff from throwing the shoes wrong. Too bad he didn't learn to play American baseball rather than futbol where they don't need arms. We would have taught him to throw.
That’s what I was thinking — right out of the playbook. THEY are always the victims. Bruises will heal, buddy. And he expected maybe a medal?
