Reminiscent of the first Clinton inaugural when he rode from Monticello to Washington, retracing the journey of the real Jefferson--Thomas not Billy Blythe. 'Rats are good for nothing if not banal and contrived theatre.

I knew when I heard that Nobama worked in Springfield, IL as a lawyer that he was going to try to portray himself as Lincoln.
Yuk. It's already happening.

Nice of the Sock Puppet to compare himself with Lincoln. His little comfortable train trip doesn’t bother me, but that ridiculous comparison does.

OK, he's gonna do the train thing.
Then, call for volunteers? I never really thought of us as "combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings or by the powers vested in the marshals by law", but I suppose if you're gwine ta do the whole Lincoln thing, that's a logical progression.

If I were a kid, I would put pennies on the tracks and later sell them for $2 each.
Crushing old car windshields, burying the diamond size pieces and then selling the treasure maps to the dumb kids in the neighborhood used to keep me in candy. Other than that... big woop. ;>)
