A small company, Ammunition Accountability--which wants to help anti-gunners price and regulate the Second Amendment out of existence, profit at the expense of our rights, or both . . . . .
Somehow, I don't see this going over too well in Texas.

So the new criminal gig will be trading ammunition on the way out of the store.
Scenario: Mr. X needs to be "offed". Y gives Z his ammo. Y flies to California. Mr. X is offed while he is there.
Old law: You can't be in two different places at the same time.

They'll have to regulate everything else, too; you can easily store several years' supply of components in a closet.
All you need is one of these to load 500 an hour:

How many bullets are used in a murder case as "single conclusive evidence" that Mo shot Larry?
The DC Sniper case is a good example. The shells matched but which one actually pulled the trigger in each shooting? We'll never really know.

There will be limits on possession. Unstamped ammo will be illegal to possess with criminal penalty. Per bullet taxes will be imposed to pay for the government directory and registration of ammo. Only ammo can be purchased and possessed for each registered firearm. The list of states and the proposed laws are documented on the Gun Owners of America website.
People, these proposed laws are dangerous. They were tried last year, and maybe the year before. Language on every state bill is almost identical. This is a national effort to undermine the 2nd Amendment.
The people behind this effort are commies.

But obviously Y knows something, ‘cuz it’s his name on the paperwork. When Y says “I know nothing about it”, investigators won’t just throw up their hands and say “OK, unsolvable mystery, case closed for lack of evidence.”
I don’t understand why people think “oh, just swap it” and “lost ‘em in a tragic boating accident” and other popular 10-second lines of thought would outwit teams of professional big-budget forensic investigators.

The people behind this effort are commies. The people behind this are the Venture Capitalists in Washington State who funded the guys that have the patent on ammunition encoding

There will be limits on possession. Unstamped ammo will be illegal to possess with criminal penalty. Right, and then everyone who (was) law abiding will say screw it and ignore every gun law instead of just that one in particular.
I can just imagine the proliferation of sawed off shotguns and home converted automatic weapons.
Speaking of which, how the hell will they stamp shotgun rounds??

Could somebody please explain the sudden urgency to eliminate our second amendment rights? I realize that the underlying reason is for the Socialists to attain even more power. But what is the stated justification for this? A few shootings here and there? Make them explain WHY they are trampling on a fundamental part of the Constitution? Make them explain WHY they are trampling on a fundamental part of the Constitution?

Additionally, bullets entering a human body tend to fragment, so stamping a serial number on them would be useless most of the time. (except in the well-known case of the “magic bullet” that killed JFK. went through 2 bodies and a car seat.)

Make them explain WHY they are trampling on a fundamental part of the Constitution? Okay. You first.

Commies have money to invest in causes they support also.
Perhaps even more money than capitalists because they seize assets for the good of the cause.
A good commie can disguise themself as a capitalist. Deception is a big part of the take over process.
EG Soros.
