The bipartisan gang rape of Sarah Palin continues.

No one is being made to pay.

With a long ways to go and a few lean years in Alaska, she doesn’t know at this point if she will run.

This supports what I’ve said all along, his selection of Sarah Palin was theatrics.

Just go away McCain. You’re the Millennium Version of Gerald Ford and Bob Dole.

Was he talking about the 2012 primary or general, and if the primary are these is what McCain said being taken out of context?

Ah, McCain is now the darling of the press again.

It disgusted me then, and it disgusts me now that circumstances compelled me to vote for this person.

Why doesn't he come out and tell it straight?

1. I ran ten years for an office I didn't really want.

2. I wasn't ever going to go after my opponents for all the bone headed things they want to do. Since I never really wanted to be President, I thought it best to plan to cross the aisle to work with the planned winner in the future.

3. I didn't want to lose along the lines of McGovern or Mondale. I picked Palin because she could make it respectable.

4. In a way, this is bad. I introduced Palin to the nation. She's a dynamo. She might be able to garner 65 million votes her first time out. It was never my plan to allow conservatives a place at the table. Now I wish I had chosen someone else, respectability be darned.

That’s what kills him inside. McCain has been in the Senate how many years? How long as he been in the public eye, too many years to count and what happens, here comes Sarah Palin, who served as governor for 2 years, and gets more support and admiration from Republicans then he does, more people came to HER rallies, I saw about 99 percent of the rallies when John and Sarah were together, after she was done talking I actually saw people leave, they actually left when John started to talk, that says it all right there, he noticed that and become very very jealous, that is what this is all about, JEALOUSY

Savage was right - McShame is the “Fall Dog” chosen by the Republican party establishment to lose the election so they can win it again in 2012 with another candidate.

And it is with absolutely 0 regret that I am able to say I NEVER supported McCain. I voted for Gov. Palin.

I hope his “corpse” that is “still warm” rots in hell! Who is running against him in the primary in Arizona? I would like to know to whom I can send the maximum donation to POST HASTE!

The backstabbing coward chose her to be his survivor, yet he cannot muster enough courage to defend her against personal attacks or even support her in the future. I am glad McCain lost.

"Ugh... I am so ashamed that I voted for this guy"

I didn't vote for Juan. I covered up his name on the ballot and voted for Sarah.

"He's unsure HE would support HER? Talk about chutzpah.."

I'd say they're already even. She got a free platform and a lot of free publicity on which to launch her career.

If McCain thinks she's not up to the job, he doesn't owe her anything, imo.

He nominated her to be a heart beat away...and now he says he is not sure he can support her?

? It is clear he plans, IMHO, to try again. If he does, I believe Sarah will BURY HIM politically.

I keep hearing people suggest that John McCain is an honourable man. What is so very honourable about him? I have yet to see any sign of this honour everyone talks about.

The man is a outhouse weasel!

I’m not surprised. It would probably be hard for a RINO to support a CONSERVATIVE.

John McCain is not worthy of being in the same room with Sarah.

Who has McCain not stabbed in the back over the years? Palin is in good company; she’s been back-stabbed by the same guy who back-stabbed everyone who ever depended on him. Except for Democrats, of course. He can usually be counted on to come through for them.

I have to assume someone somewhere has a file on him complete with 35mm photographic evidence.

All of me is glad McKook didn’t win. We’ll see how bad Obama turns out to be but I wonder if McPain would have been any better.
