For 43-year-old Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., aka "Senate Candidate 5", loss of innocence came earlier this week when he discovered that there is something called "pay-to-play" politics going on in Illinois. Where O where is the BARF ALERT?!?!?

The family name of Jackson cannot be used in the same sentence as the word “innocence.” Sorry, it does not compute. I speak of The Jesse Jackson family, not of all Jacksons (well, there is that Michael guy, but I digress).
Still can’t process the title.

How do you begin to explain something like this to a frightened 33-year-old. LOL! Funny article, I just hope some of this splashes on senior Jackass. He'll never spend time in jail, but he deserves to be there.

Read the whole thing, it finely honed sarcasm. I thought it was great! Especially loved this bit...
It is not as if, I don’t know, Jackson’s father had spent a lifetime accruing personal wealth running shakedown rackets like those the governor is alleged to have run.

Now you know why Jesse Jackson Sr. said what he did about Obama’s private parts... the price for the Senate seat was outrageous.

The problem with the premise of the article is that anyone previously believed that the Jackson family had any “innocence” or credibility. The concept of Jesse Jackson Jr. trying to purchase a Senate seat surprises nobody - in fact I would be surprised if he tried to gain power any other way.
To: BigFinn
Not to mention those tears at the election results.... a million five?

Reread it, the writer doesn’t believe it either, the whole thing is sarcasm.

Great, sarcastic article. I thought for a moment when he mentioned his “baby” sister he might be referencing some illegitimate offspring of his father’s.

Read the whole thing. It’s satirical and very well done.

Open weeping in Chicago. The flag in front of JJ Jr’s Bud franchise is lowered to half staff.

The only one of the Jacksons I have any respect for is Reggie.
It's always sad when this "loss of innocence" moment occurs...like when Louie discovered there was gambling going on in Rick's American Cafe in Casablanca.
