The Caylee Anthony case took a dramatic turn yesterday when a child's skeletal remains were found approximately three-tenths of a mile from the home of Casey Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony. Since that time, the remains have been sent off for positive identification and a search warrant has been obtained for the Anthony family home.
Investigators conducting the search of the home have been seen removing enough items to fill up at least three vehicles. The search, which began yesterday evening, continued until early this morning.
A sheriff's deputy has now been posted in front of the house to guard what is now being described as a "crime scene" by the sheriff's office. A sheriff's office helicopter is also patrolling the area to ensure that no one attempts to corrupt the crime scene.
Items removed from the Anthony family home include: three vacuum cleaners, two pesticide tanks, a small pillow, seven large paper bags and four boxes of potential evidence.
Kevin BearyDuring an interview with CNN, Orange County sheriff Kevin Beary said that investigators "absolutely" found something of interest while searching the home.
In a separate interview with "The Today Show," Beary said that something found with the child skeletal remains prompted the search.
"We know that there's some clues that came out of the remains found yesterday and that's why we've kind of linked it back to the house. That's why we did everything proper, got a search warrant and secured the premises and searched into the wee hours this morning," Beary said.
Investigators are planning to continue the search later today. They also plan on conducting another search of the area where the child skeletal remains were found.
The remains have since been sent to the FBI crime lab in Quantico, Virginia, where experts are conducting expedited testing to identify them. According to Beary, a positive ID could take up to two weeks.
Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, has filed an emergency motion to ensure that defense experts can be present while the remains are tested. A hearing to rule on that motion has been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today.
Crime SceneMeanwhile, a source inside the Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office has said that the death penalty that was recently taken off the table would be reconsidered if the remains are proven to be Caylee. It was just one week ago that the state attorney's office announced they would not seek the death penalty against Anthony in the first-degree murder of Caylee.
Events that have transpired in the last 24 hours were set in motion yesterday morning, when an Orange County water meter reader discovered child skeletal remains inside a black plastic garbage bag near Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive in Orlando.
The worker immediately notified police and the area was cordoned off as a crime scene. Sources close to the investigation say that remnants of duct tape were found on both the skull and the trash bag.
They all should be arrested
Especially Cindy she pulls the strings
George won’t say anything without Cindy’s OK.
Just saw them on Larry King and George would always look at Cindy before he said anything and 99% of the time let her answer /
Did you see this?
“California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla who had previously bailed Anthony out on lesser child neglect charges stood by a canal, taking photos with well-wishers and handing out autographs. At one point, Padilla had conducted his own search for Caylee, and on Sunday, he pontificated on how long detectives might stay at the scene.”

GEESH!
What a self serving publicity hound.
How can one give out AUTOGRAPHS at a crime scene?
Sources: ‘Bone Trail’ Found Through Woods Near Anthony Home
Investigators Confirm Child’s Body Wrapped Inside Plastic Bag
December 14, 2008
All weekend, two official sources who spoke to WESH 2 News on the condition of anonymity, said they have been recovering more human remains in the wooded area along Suburban Drive near the home of missing Caylee Anthony.
According to one investigator, at least two dozen bones have been discovered so far, in addition to a skull with light long hair consistent with a female child.

Sources have described a small “bone trail” found outside the garbage bag, leading them to suspect that it was likely submerged for an unknown period of time and some of the remains floated out of the bag or were scattered by animals.
For the first time, WESH 2 News has also confirmed that the child’s body was wrapped in some sort of “covering” inside the bag.
According to sources, it was the covering — along with the trash bag and duct tape — that investigators said they believe are tied to the Anthony house nearby on Hopespring Drive.
When notified Thursday of the discovery of the remains, witnesses said Casey Anthony started sobbing and asked for a sedative.
When asked how his client was doing, Jose Baez said she “is not doing very well at all.”
FBI processes evidence; Anthonys attend church
Cindy and George Anthony are at home on Hopespring Drive this afternoon after attending Sunday services at Eastside Baptist Church.
FOX 35 was the only crew at the Conway Gardens Road Church this morning, where the Anthonys’ pastor prayed for hope.
While the Anthonys did not speak to FOX 35 crews, their pastor, Dr. Shane Stutzman said he held a private meeting with the grandparents of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie.
“I just prayed with the Anthonys this morning and encouraged them and let them know we’re here and we’re not leaving,” he said.
In addition to Baez, the Anthonys also received a visit from their new attorney, Brad Conway. Conway told FOX 35 that George and Cindy have been trying to get their house back together after investigators “tore it apart,” while looking for possible evidence in the case.
“They’re devastated. They’re trying to deal with this the best they can. They’re realistic about the probability that its Caylee, but they pray that it’s not,” said Conway.
One source told FOX 35 that the house looked like it had been ransacked. Today, Conway wanted to make one thing clear; that the Anthonys are cooperating and are not at the center of this investigation.
“They’ve got nothing to hide. There is always something that the Sheriff’s Office or the law enforcement can charge you with. They’ve done nothing wrong. They’re innocent. If they do get charged, I’m prepared to aggressively defend them,” said Conway.
Conway said the Anthonys need privacy more than anything. “Understand this is their daughter, their only daughter, being charged with the first degree murder of your only grandchild.”
PING...........
That's Padilla..............
The guy hasn’t been right about anything and he is giving out autographs?! What a dumb*ss.
I pray that picture is so.
That poor little lamb ... .
OK...questions/theories...
1) Is she crying to keep up the charade that Caylee was kidnapped?
2) Is she crying to try to set up an insanity defense?
3) Is she crying because she just realized there went her bargaining tool (location) to try to get out of jail or a light sentence?
4) Is she crying because the death penalty may be back on the table?
All of the above. She knows the jig is up and now it’s time to pay the piper............Her only defense now is “accidental” death, but it will be difficult if the rumors of duct tape on the mouth of the skull are true..........
She said she could continue on with the kidnapping story, say it was an accident, or go with an insanity defense.
She could claim the “kidnapper” dumped the body there in an effort to frame her..........
she did mention that, as part of her keep up the story defense.
She could but who is going to believe her when she was out partying instead of looking for the ‘kidnapper’?!
She already knew what she did with Caylee and there was no need to look for her. She was free (or thought she was) to keep partying away.

Caylee’s Grandparents ‘Devastated’ as Investigators Find More Bones
a lawyer for the couple said the family was preparing for the worst.
“They’re devastated,” Brad Conway told MyFOXOrlando.com. “They’re trying to deal with this the best they can. They’re realistic about the probability that it’s Caylee, but they pray it’s not.”

It will be interesting to see how Baez, her attorney, handles this, if he lets it go to trial or not, without a plea bargain. They (she) turned down the first plea bargain. There may not be a second. Now that a body has been found, assuming it is Caylee, the odds of a plea deal are slim to none...........
Tim Miller speaks to FOX 35’s Mike Dunston
Also on Monday, Tim Miller, the leader of Texas Equusearch, spoke with FOX 35’s Mike Dunston about the case. Tim Miller says he is angry with Casey Anthony. “When we walked into the Anthony’s house the first time, Casey could have taken me for a two minute walk and it would have been over,” he said.
He said investigators at the crime site got emotional after the find. “We hugged and wiped tears out of our eyes and said ‘My God, it’s finally over, it’s finally over.”
Investigators allowed Miller close to the area where the child’s remains were located, but they said he, as well as Casey Anthony’s defense team, were not given access to the actual site.
“Tim Miller says he is angry with Casey Anthony. When we walked into the Anthonys house the first time, Casey could have taken me for a two minute walk and it would have been over, he said.”
If she was going to give up the body the cops wouldn’t have needed to call him in the first place. Shining him on was part of their (the Anthony’s) charade.
