Good one, I like that.
And in Canada we put proper grave markers on top of graves. We do not bury our dead in the sand in anonymous graves like they might do back in their Camelstan homelands.
Plenty of people in the cemetary down the road here have no marker. Fact of life.
If I was in Canada, I would stop by to pay my respects myself. Just a bad as Gabe Watson in Alabama who allegedly murdered his wife on a dive near Australia. He dishonored her grave by removing memorabilia from it.

Their local newspaper could really slam the brakes on this, and hard.

That is, at the same time the dead girl is held up as a role model, who was liked by all who knew her, her entire family should be rudely vilified and shamed.
Really, no holds barred. Called names to guarantee that other Muslims would avoid them as pariahs. The colorful names that would enrage them. “Eaters of pork”, “Unclean”, “Lickers of shoes”, “Defilers of the dead”, etc. Show their pictures, as well, and not flattering ones.
The dead girl should be the only member of her family held up as having honor. Everyone else are dogs. They should not show their face in public. No mosque should allow them entrance.
A lot of thought should be put into how to do this to inflict maximum shame on the family, yet to try and keep it legal. Repetition also works, mentioning them in unrelated stories, like “Unclean family buy food at grocery store”, asking the clerk if what he thinks of their shame.

Are they from Camelstan?
No. One only gets a marker on one’s grave if one pays for it and makes arragement or if the family pays for it or makes arragements, in the case of military folks. All the other people dont get a marker. Just doesnt happen. Many many more people are buried in cemetaries than the markers show.
