Study: Half of warming due to Sun! Sea Levels Fail to Rise? - Warming Fears in 'Dustbin of History'
POZNAN, Poland - The UN global warming conference currently underway in Poland is about to face a serious challenge from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe who are criticizing the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. Set for release this week, a newly updated U.S. Senate Minority Report features the dissenting voices of over 650 international scientists, many current and former UN IPCC scientists, who have now turned against the UN. The report has added about 250 scientists (and growing) in 2008 to the over 400 scientists who spoke out in 2007. The over 650 dissenting scientists are more than 12 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers.
...Full Report Set To Be Released in the Next 24 Hours Stay Tuned
A hint of what the upcoming report contains:
I am a skeptic Global warming has become a new religion. - Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever.
Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any funding, I can speak quite frankly .As a scientist I remain skeptical. - Atmospheric Scientist Dr. Joanne Simpson, the first woman in the world to receive a PhD in meteorology and formerly of NASA who has authored more than 190 studies and has been called among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years.
Warming fears are the worst scientific scandal in the history
When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists. - UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh....

New World Order Rising? - Thoughts on the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development
Interesting. That goes back a few years.
No unnatural acts by government to get us to change. That is the whole problem with the government trying to interfere with what type of cars we decide to purchase.
Great quote, thanks~!
I believe SSN 1009 is the first group I’ve seen in the solar southern hemisphere. We are still a bit slow ramping up solar flux for this Cycle. Developing . . . . . . . .
Does an engineering degree count?

Sounds like “State of Fear” book
Then again, this viewpoint often prevails in poorer countries: “Build more coal fueled power plants!”
For example, in the Philippines:
“Proponent assures cheaper power rate with coal plant”
“AN OFFICIAL of Global Business Power Corporation (GBPC) assured Wednesday that Iloilo City will definitely have stable and sustainable electricity through a coal-fired power plant by 2011.
GBPC Executive Vice President Arman Lapus assured the Regional Development Council (RDC) that the coal plant project in the city will bring down the cost of electricity by some P2 to P3 per kilowatt-hour consumption.
In a briefing with members of the RDC infrastructure committee chaired by Mayor Jerry P. Treñas Wednesday, Lapus said the power cut will be triggered by privatization of some power plants of the National Power Corporation (Napocor) throughout the country.
He said there will be no more government subsidy for Napocor plants as soon as there will be a change in price structuring of its plants in Dingle, Iloilo which supplies power in Panay Island.
The National Government has sold two power plants in Dingle to the Singaporean firm Salcon Corp. for more than $5 million, and that electric power consumers will have to buy from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) in the Visayas Grid.
GBPC Assistant Vice President Adrian Moncada meantime said that power generated from the coal plant is much cheaper than those fired by bunker, diesel, gas and renewable or alternative fuel.
The sole private sector-funded coal power plant will be using a proven and tested mature technology, such as the circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) and readily available raw materials like coal from Semirara, Antique and in surrounding countries like China, Australia and Kalimantan, Indonesia.
There will also be no danger to the underground water source since the coal plant will be using seawater and the so-called “desalination system of seawater” through osmosis reversion for its water needs in running the plant.
Treñas said two coal-fired power plants are to be established in Iloilo: one at Barangay Ingore with 164MW by GBPC and the other one at Barangay Nipa, Concepcion with 100 MW operated by the David M Consunji Inc. (DMCI).
Both plants are expected to be operational by early 2011.”

Thank you for that. I may use it.
Don’t forget paying WAY more (and being seen) at Whole Foods...

t
yes and yes.
I’ve listened to all of the podcasts from the March 2008 climate realist conference and downloaded the available presos. Dr. Tim Ball podcast is exceptional as are several others.
