Evidence Suggests Somebody on Team Obama Knew What Blago Was Doing...

Evidence Suggests Somebody on Team Obama Knew What Blago Was Doing... Obama defenders will no doubt argue that Obama has no connection to the Blagojevich scandal, citing the FBI and U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald's emphasis in yesterday's press conference that the President-Elect is not implicated in this scandal.

But that's what makes yesterday's "it would be inappropriate to comment" stonewalling from Obama so bizarre. He said nothing beyond that it was a "sad day." There was no glimpse of anger at the governor, no sense of betrayal in the tone of his words. He spoke as if Blagojevich had been in a car accident. If Obama is in the clear, why can he not say what he thinks of these disturbing revelations? Why didn't he do what almost every other Democrat in the state did, and call for Blagojevich's resignation?

Not true Obamatrons and presstitutes. Fitz said "nothing in complaint". Big difference. *snicker*

You can bet your sweet arse Rahm Emanuel is in this up to his eyeballs. He’s Obama’s Karl Rove.

Even had someone in the Obama camp consulted with Blagojevich on the appointment, that doesn’t mean anything criminal happened. Why come out with a statement that directly contradicts Axelrod’s remarks on November 23rd, then have Axelrod himself come out and say he “misspoke”. If there’s a simple explanation for the conversations then there’s no reason to refute the issue...

The local channel 3 news-hair dude here in Philly used the exact same words last night.
I'm sure they all pulled the same talking points off their faxes.

I wonder;
If Rahm set OlJagovBich up with the wiretapping Feds (as many have claimed) would it not then follow that a pnone call feigning outrage at the corrupt sugggestion would cover the One’s tracks, however guilty he might be from other transactions prior?

After all, now they have it on tape and even NR is pointing to the One’s appparent innocence. Let’s let this play out a little, no? Before it becomes “accepted” based on a phine tap that Obomber most likely KNEW ABOUT???

Yep. My hope of hopes is that Fitz does not take kindly to such machinations and will set the record straight. Time will tell...

There's not, and therefore there IS every reason try and "revise and extend remarks." Obama got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and now they're trying to claim that it wasn't Obama's hand.

Sorry ... one cannot come from this kind of political environment and not be this kind of politician. As the nation will quickly discover, he is a Chicago Politician.

Why float a fake birth certificate and then spend hundreds of thousands of dollars defending against lawsuits questioning the Messiahs's constitutional qualifications when simply releasing the original birth certificate would put the issue to rest?

In his affidavit for the arrest warrant, the FBI agent alleged violation of Title 18, sections 1341, 1343, 1346 and 1349.

USC Title 18 § 1349. Attempt and conspiracy
Any person who attempts or conspires to commit any offense under this chapter shall be subject to the same penalties as those prescribed for the offense, the commission of which was the object of the attempt or conspiracy.

If Zero talked to Blago, then you would have to presume that Fitz has it on tape. With this knowledge, Zero specifically denied talking to Blago. This means that either Fitz is in the bag and got rid of the recording or Zero is telling the truth. The fact that Fitz blew the investigation sky high in the middle of a Democrat “crime spree” (as his office described it) tells me that Fitz is protecting Democrats. If Fitz is protecting Democrats, guess who would be at the top of the list?

Follow the corruption.

I think Fitz is as corrupt as any of them. In the bag.
