The mission of this website is hilarious
Our mission is to demonstrate Senator Shelby what the result will be by not supporting the state of Alabama and its industries, (true American industries, not foreign companies that assemble products in the U.S.). We are starting a nationwide boycott of Alabama that will include any travel into the state well as boycotting the purchase of anything produced in any way within the state.
The sad but necessary part of this initiative is that many innocent hard working people will be hurt. Just as many innocent hard working people in the Big Three, their suppliers and many other direct and indirect businesses will be hurt by Senator Shelbys rhetoric and lack of understanding and support of the domestic auto industry. (Note: It has just been announced that the Senator will try to filibuster the automotive hearings to our dismay).
To those hard working people in Alabama, we apologize for the boycott and the loss of income and future employment from this boycott but please understand that it is within your power to elect a representative who has Americas best interest in mind. Many people have watched as Mr. Shelby spewed inaccurate statements during the senate hearings. It is clear that Senator Shelby has no idea of the inner workings of the Big Three, yet his title allows him to poison the air with non-truths about the domestic auto industry.
The time has come to fight back and work tirelessly to once again build a strong domestic automobile industry. Keep in mind that while Mr. Shelby has been elected to represent the state of Alabama, he is paid by all of the people of these 50 great states. All of our money pays his salary and if our organization had our way, we would put a hold on his paycheck.
This website will be a living document with further links added as information becomes available that will be of value to the reader. Unlike many of our representatives, we will provide the truth and honest information.
Hmmmmmm...maybe a nice email of support is due the good Senator...
I would boycott Michigan if there was anything worthwhile to boycott.
Go the the car shows. Chevy is an award winner. So is Cadilac.
Maybe ACORN has found another cause.
No, a 48 year old UAW thug.
Attention Michigan.....
We’re keeping and eye on you. Many of you are fleeing the frigid wasteland that is Michigan and coming south. Dis Bama, dis us all.
You might not be welcome when you are finally forced to capitulate and pick up stakes and head south.
AMEN! I had some new neighbors move in from Minnesota about 6 months ago. Every time I see them they are complaining about something to do with Tennessee. They complain that we have no dog catcher, no garbage service, "only" a volunteer fire department, etc. Then, they follow up with how great it was in Minnesota. As a native of the Atlanta area I experienced this for years there, too, before I left the city that Yankees ruined (twice).
My question to them and all these other Yankees is this: If it was so great wherever you came from why did you move here?
If they were building the cars people want they’d be profitable. Since they’re begging for money demonstrably they are NOT building the cars people want.
I don't think it will be with Kiffin.
Roll Tide.
“Who wrote this, an eight year old?”
My first thought was that the writer would put his/her time to better use pursuing a GED.
Dear Michigan, Please refrain from using ANY Alabamians tax money for your unearned bailout.
Michigan hasn't played football all year.
Me too. However, I'm still trying to wrap my head around UT firing Phillip Fulmer with a National Championship and a 75% winning record under his belt. Fulmer should have stayed on if for no other reason than recruitment. It's not likely that the next Peyton Manning is going to come to a school with an unknown head coach......
“I don’t think it will be with Kiffin.”
Neither does anyone in my family....but please note that I didn’t say WHEN Tennessee will rise again...)
;-))
Kiffin is going to be Tennessee’s Ron Zook.
“So is Cadilac.”
Is that how they are now branding that car ?
Those of us in Alabama have already been boycotting products made in Michigan.
Go ahead ya wormy bastids. You need us more than we need you.
No worries Michigan, I haven’t visited y’all since the the War to Suppress Yankee Arrogance. :)
