Obama vows to end global warming 'denial' after Gore talks
Tue Dec 9, 4:02 pm ET

CHICAGO (AFP) – President-elect Barack Obama said Tuesday his administration would brook no further delay in tackling climate change after discussing global warming with former vice president Al Gore.

Sitting between Gore and his vice president-elect Joseph Biden following the hour-long meeting, Obama told reporters: "All three of us are in agreement that the time for delay is over. The time for denial is over.

"We all believe what the scientists have been telling us for years now, that this is a matter of urgency and national security, and it has to be dealt with in a serious way. That is what I intend my administration to do," he said.

Gore is thought unlikely to figure in Obama's incoming administration, which takes office on January 20.

But the climate change crusader is winning a respectful new audience for his views as Obama promises to unwind the environmental policies of President George W. Bush despite an economic recession hitting the United States.

Pay taxes to the gubbermint so gubbermint scientists can pretend to control the weather. The perfect scam. Does anyone care where the tax money collected from the hoax goes? Does the Earth care?

That’s what it sounds like to me -

no dissent allowed, under penalty of law (legal use of deadly force to impose the will of the lawgiver).

"We all believe the scientists..."

A new U.S. Senate report documents hundreds of prominent scientists – experts in dozens of fields of study worldwide – who say global warming and cooling is a cycle of nature and cannot legitimately be connected to man's activities. .... "Of course I believe in global warming, and in global cooling – all part of the natural climate changes that the Earth has experienced for billions of years, caused primarily by the cyclical variations in solar output," said research physicist John W. Brosnahan, who develops remote-sensing instruments for atmospheric science for clients including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA. .... However, he said, "I have not seen any sort of definitive, scientific link to man-made carbon dioxide as the root cause of the current global warming, only incomplete computer models that suggest that this might be the case. "Even though these computer climate models do not properly handle a number of important factors, including the role of precipitation as a temperature regulator, they are being (mis-)used to force a political agenda upon the U.S.," he continued. "While there are any number of reasons to reduce carbon dioxide generation, to base any major fiscal policy on the role of carbon dioxide in climate change would be inappropriate and imprudent at best and potentially disastrous economic folly at the worst."

Whenever "scientists" is used as a general term to prove a supposed fact, i.e., "scientists tell us...." you can probably bank on the fact that whatever they are trying to sell, it is probably a fraud.

It’s apparent to us that he’s a mental midget... but to those who are impressed with vacuous speeches, he’s “the most qualified... brilliant, etc”.

1 John 4:5-6
5 False prophets belong to the world. So they speak from the world’s point of view. The world listens to them. 6 We belong to God. And those who know God listen to us. But those who don’t belong to God don’t listen to us. That’s how we can tell the difference between the Spirit of truth and the spirit of lies.

who's scientist?..the liberal greenies scientist? the Algore scientist?...the consensus scientist? (of which there are none since there is no consensus in science which is constantly evolving). The consensus scientist believed the world was flat once, the difference was there were no liberals and their opinion didn't require massive tax money to be spent on hoax after hoax to support their agenda, to destroy America

Could that statement not also apply to many other areas of "science" as well ... Say, Evolution?

When this most Marxist social worker with a law degree who doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about goes after coal in electrical production then he’s toast.

The idiots who voted for this clown will finally get mad when he makes their electrical bills skyrocket but they’ll REALLY get mad when oil prices go back up, he promised that too.

Until then the idiots in the press will continue to talk like Obama’s bringing GOOD change but they can only blame it on BUSH so long. Hopefully the fool can screw up enough by 2010 to give us a Congressional purge.

The term "experts" can be substituted for "scientists" and the same is usually true.

My question is if "experts" are truly experts, why do I constantly see headlines that say "Experts surprised by (fill in the blank)"?

I am beginning to suspect “The One” is incapable of independent thought, that he is little more than a puppet for prevailing politically correct orthodoxy.
