Albore didn’t have to feel ignored - he could have thrown himself into his own project to drain the Chicago cesspool, since it was his own campaign’s National Finance Director who was later convicted (for other activities) in one of the Chicago corruption cases.
Al should have announced his own personal anti-corruption task force to end all the “denial” and clean up the most polluted political cesspool in America..... Chicago.

These people are pathological liars. It is impossible that Obama’s campaign manager could have thought Obama had spoken to him. This is a felony criminal case. Put Axelrod and Obama under oath and then find out what happened.

And then there was poor Al Gore today -- a virtual non-entity in the hyped mini-summit meeting with PEOTUS Obama and VPEOTUS Biden thanks to the Blago scandal. Gore, who was in Chicago to meet with Obama, was relegated to a couple of sentences that praised his “extraordinary work that he has done around the issue of climate change." *snort*
