OMG, can you imagine that voice droning on endlessly on C-SPAN?

Sadly she is no less qualified than Caroline Kennedy. Probably true, but only because democrats set the bar so low for qualification...just look at the gaggle that stepped forward to become CA governor in that special election.

Actually, redk, I (though not a NewYorker) find Ms. Dresher more qualified than any Kennedy. Why? Well didn't Fran actually show up and work as an actress on the Nanny?

Silly Actress. Doesn’t she know you have to either be married to a president, or the offspring of a president in order to be qualified to represent those brilliant New yorkers. You know the ones that elect people from other states to represent them.

Considering that she was a victim of a heinous violent crime years ago, I wonder what her views on gun control are. Whiney voice aside, it could be a good thing.

Oh, well, I cannot help but suspect that this is a ploy to make Caroline look good in comparison, and Fran volunteered for this thankless job.
That is the most charitable view on this development.
On the other hand, I may have been overestimating their intelligence.

I am in NY state. What happens in these instances, I forget, is the person simply given the Senate seat?
NY state, where my Conservative vote is lost.

They say she is an actress, I've never heard of her.
Is she out of work and trying to get publicity?
To: redk
Fran isn’t qualified enough to be called an actress, much less this.
