The best man for the job - if he would consider it - would be Dick Cheney. He has the business experience as CEO of a “mega” corporation, the political knowledge and acumen, and the no-nonsense attitude needed to set standards of performance and make them stick.

If anyone has a better candidate, I’d like to know. And if anybody knows of anyone LESS likely to be offered the job, I’d like to know that, as well.

I'm not a big fan of "get the other guy" politics. Too often those laws we make to restrain others, end up getting used against us.

Drug law logic being used on smoking/fatty foods/firearms comes to mind.
