NEW YORK - Three suspects, including a Jewish American, had their remand extended yesterday after being nabbed on suspicion of attempting to smuggle a missile to Muslim terror groups operating inside the United States.
British arms dealer Hemant Lakhani is suspected of heading the half a million dollar operation with two accomplices, Yehuda Avraham, a New York resident and Moinuddeen Ahmed Hameed, of Malaysia, who helped to launder the missile funds.
The three were captured in a sting operation mounted over the past year-and-a-half in coordination among American, Russian and British authorities, the FBI revealed yesterday.
Yehuda Avraham received the payment for the first missile from Lakhani and transferred it to a bank account outside the U.S., and Hameed was to launder the money.

There were Israelis a few years ago who sold M-16’s to the PLO and Muslims in the occupied territories which could have been and were probably used to kill other Israelis.

Had they used the missiles, this would have the natural effect of pushing the USA more firmly into the Israeli camp....this would come at a time when things are very dicey for Israel.

Well, how many protestants voted for him? If it was only Catholics and Jews McCain would be the future president.
Obama received 53% of the Catholic vote and 78% of the Jewish vote. Get a clue!
I think McCain got a large majority of the white protestant and evangelical and probably mormon/LDS vote.
Please note I was not Catholic or Jew bashing just very frustrating that people could be so stupid. Not exactly like voting for Arafat but not that far off either.

Mormons are historically the most Republican voting religious group, and have been for several decades. It annoys me how many people bash them (and I am a non-believer).
I think the Moromons/LDS are super people and they worked hard for Prop 8 and have also taken most of the abuse. The gay pop in CA I guess figured calling black people the N word was a bad strategy. So they set their sights on Mormons.
I was pretty angry how Mitt’s religion was made an issue by the press and some conervatives. As soon as I post this people will say “I do not like Mitt because a liberal not his religion.” The point is Mormons see to be Christian enemy #1 with libs followed by Catholics and Evangelicals. Just incredible bigotry.

Something wrong with this Haaretz story. Lakhani got 47 years for this back in 2005 and the arrest of Avraham in the same incident was first mentioned in 2003.
